The Ultra O Screwgate Carabiner could be described as the perfect aid climbing carabiner – it performs remarkably well in a big wall environment and its I-Beam construction gives it an excellent strength to weight ratio.
Oval biners are important because they allow pulleys to sit in a correctly loaded and equalised position. Their symmetrical shape stops them shifting under load and potentially dislodging a marginal gear placement. The locking gate adds a final element of security to the system.

Strong Screwgate carabiner, easy action gate, fits the hand well and operates easily. very pleased with the quality of the design and materials, Not best for using with a hunter or even a clove hitch but excellent for belay slings and tying rope back into harness.
