DMM Wallnut Set 1-6

DMM Wallnuts are the foundation of a comprehensive climbing rack. They're made using different alloy for each size - smaller Wallnuts use a harder alloy to prevent shearing, while larger sizes are softer so they can bite into placements. They can be placed in two different orientations, allowing a single nut to cover a range of cracks, and they're tapered across both their face and sides, helping them sit better in cracks that are rarely parallel sided.

The grooved faces reduce weight, help the nut seat better in cracks, improve security in shallow placements, and resist lifting out when a leader moves past them. Their wire is stiff enough to allow overhead placements, but flexible enough to reduce the chance of lifting out. They're colour coded to correspond with the rest of the DMM protection range, making it quick and easy to select the correct size from your harness.

Curved taper for stability:
The Wallnuts' curving taper fits a wide variety of cracks in different rock types. The design creates three points of contact between the nut and rock in a placement, giving stable placements that resist lifting out

Passive protection can be placed either side or face on, doubling your options

Grooved faces improve security in irregular rock:
A groove machined into their faces allows the Wallnuts to sit better in irregular placements and on highly featured rock, so they're very versatile across different rock types

Colour coded for easy size identification:
