Reviewed by Don - 20th Apr, 2016 Not impressed To be fair this does what it says on the packaging. It fits it the Trangia Storm Stoves, it burns alcohol gel. The gel leaves a mess behind. It uses far more gel than I expected and is therefore more expensive to use. I thought it might prove to be safer and economic, it is not so stick to meths or liquid bioethanol in the Trangia Mini Burner.
Reviewed by Iain - 12th Oct, 2015 Trangia gel burner Not sure if I have missed a trick here, I have used one of these alongside a second stove which was burning meths. Both stoves were used to boil a kettle of water. Same amount in each, I used vango gel fuel in my gel burner and found that I had to refill the gel burner at least once to boil the water. It didn't seem to last very long and certainly not as long as trangia say it will. Ok it's not the biggest vessel for holding the gel, but in my opinion stick to the meths, a lot less messing about refilling fuel. Like I said maybe I am missing a trick with this one!!!!!.
