Works a treat, kept stuff cold for 3 days without recharging the cool blocks

Well built cooler with strong handle and plenty of space for all you'd need for up to a max of a week's camping. Must make sure you have loads of ice blocks though or it isn't too effective. Once we got a bag of ice in there it kept cool for 48+hrs.
Drawbacks are that lid can appear closed when it's not, so care is needed to ensure that it's popped shut, or everything gets warm pretty quickly. Could do with a clip on it really. The hinges on the back of the lid mean you have to prop it open to get things in/out which can be a bit of a pain, but manageable, & hinges are just folded plastic so don't know how long they'll last.
Overall, a decent sturdy cool box, but not sure its worth all the extra money it cost.

Had to convince my husband it would 'see him out' due to the price but even he was impressed when beers were still cold on third night of a camping trip.

Does exactly as described. After using other cool boxes I didn't expect this to be as good as it was. After a weekend camping trip the milk was still cold and fresh.

Only used so far in lower temperatures but believe it could deal with much warmer weather.

Got two of the large freeze packs and the coolbox stayed chilled all weekend. Nice size if your short of space in the car, but big enough for all the essentials for a weekend.

We bought this box for Glastonbury Festival as our Campervan fridge doesn't work over 30 degree heat . We filled it with sealed bags of ice enroute to the Festival and left it closed , on Wednesday we transferred the fridge contents to it with the ice until the temperatures dropped Thursday then put our drinks in there . On Monday before we left the festival we had a last cold beer out of the melted ice water in the cool box ... Fantastic .. Did what it said on the tin .. Recommended 5*

A quality item that does everything it;s supposed to. Lid fits perfectly preserving the integrity of the seal. A good finish internally and externally and easy to clean. There are cheaper products but not as good. You get what you pay for.

Fantastic cool box- truly a great buy- took camping with ice blocks- it kept our salad afresh and milk cool for nearly 3 days! Definitely worth every penny.

Took camping with three freezer cubes and lasted three days. Ideal for what we need.

Good cool box took camping and fishing added 3 freezer blocks which lasted about two days kept things in side fresh.

4 frozen ice blocks and a few things in it. Completely defrosted blocks overnight and goodness knows it wasn't exactly tropical overnight in Scotland. Contacted Coleman regarding their 3 day claim and was told this was with cool box completely full of nothing but ice and not opened for three days. Yes that's obviously what you do with a cool box when camping. No need to store milk, marg etc, just ice, and basically don't use it for 3 days. REALLY !?!

This is excellent, we use it for camping. Day one set off 10am with Tesco's bag of ice and frozen bacon sausages etc. in cool box along with salad, beer etc.
morning to 9am, bacon and sausages still too frozen to pull apart for breakfast!!
day four 9am still have recognisable ice cubes left in the bottom.
it is definately worth spending the extra money on this is you are away for more than a couple of days.

Does what it says on the tin . Have trailed it and keeps food cool for at least 48 hours , this is with only two freezer blocks . With more freezer blocks would probably keep food chilled for 3 if not more days , certainly adequate for camping .

I bought this product for a 3 day camping trip after reading the specs, thought it would be ideal. I put my food and drink in on the Friday, used freezer packs and loose ice cubes. All items were kept fresh and on emptying on the Monday, the ice cubes still hadn't fully melted. Can't really understand the negative reviews as it's NOT a freezer, it's a cool box that works as described

I used this cooler for a 3 day camping trip. I added 3kg of ice cubes in sealed bags which worked fine. It kept the food and drinks cold. Ice cubes start to melt about 36 hours but it did its job. Drinks holder on the lid are handy and the size was fine for me. Im happy with this cooler. After all, its a cooler, not a fridge or freezer.

Really should take this back to store for a refund as it will not keep things frozen.
Even after pre cooling the box, it fails to keep frozen for more than a few hours. Even frozen 2litre bottles of water are fully defrosted within 12hrs. Most disappointed.

Good build, feels solid, large capacity.
Slightly dissapointed with its ability to keep things as cold as it boasts.
