Best piece of camping equipment ever bought.
Just been camping for 4 nights and used this every night for a fire pit! We also had a couple of BBQs over the 4 days!
Brilliant for camping, easy to clean and fold up to pack away, I would definitely recommend!
The only slight thing is the grill that the food gets cooked on doesn’t quite sit right so you have to be a little carful when turning burgers that it doesn’t slip off but not a massive problem at all.
This worked well for us on a family camping trip - BBQ on it and used it as a fire pit to toast marshmallows on, Worked well was robust enough - not the greatest for for the BBQ griddle could have been machines better to fit however not insurmountable.
Broken straight out of the bix, braket bent and keg doesnt lock in place making it dangerous
I have used this a few times on camping trips and for BBQs at home and it’s great! Easy to clean and pack away. The grill can slip sometimes during cooking but that’s the only negative.
Took this camping for a week and it's a great piece of kit for cooking on and then using as a fire pit + easy to pack away in between. Since getting home we've also realised it's better than our actual BBQ!
Even though it's on legs it got hot enough to scorch the grass underneath, so something to keep in mind for fussier campsites (put a slab of stone underneath or something).
A decent piece of kit which means only one thing to carry if you want a bbq and a firepit. It folds away well. We used it to cook for 7 of us recently over two burns (which we expected as it is perfect for 3/4 people at a time).
The only issue is the grill doesn't fit securely and I was constantly juggling with it to keep it from flipping and dropping the meat into the fire.
Once we'd cooked on it though it was turned into a firepit and the spark guard is very good.
A little bit on the pricey side at £40+ however it is a great bit of kit. We no longer have to carry both a bbq and fire pit with us. Decent height off the ground so you are not having to bend over too much when cooking on it.
The only 2 negative points I would have is, the one we have (don't know if its the same them all) the bbq grill doesn't sit very securely and a couple of times when turning food as dropped in on one side. Its as if the lip for it to sit on isn't quite big enough or the grill isn't quite round making in prone to slipping. The 2nd is be warned if your on site that is particular about damage to the grass. This is off the floor but still scorches the grass. We put a brick under each leg and this was enough to stop it.
Bought this as a back up option for taking to Holland with us, and knowing we'll be camping later in the year. Primarily we bought just to use as a fire pit but we ended up doing most of our cooking on it and then using it as a fire pit afterwards.
Well built and the legs fold down for easy transportation, the lid just goes upside down in to the bowl as well.
The only thing i'd suggest to improve it is a few ventilation holes in the base, we drilled a couple in just to aid the airflow.
I got this couple of weeks back, not used to cook on yet only as a firepit for warmth. It's a really good bit of kit, legs fold well, cleaned easy and goes back in it's box with a push.
Well worth a buy for the garden or camping away.
Perfect small ( ish ) BBQ turn fire pit.
Five star product, light weight. Quality built, easily packs away.
Bought this last weekend and have used it every night camping in Wales.
Fantastic product, brilliant at barbecuing then transforms into a cosy fire pit.
So easy to clean, and unlike other products of this type fits easily back into its original packaging when packing away.
Very missleading the bowl is only 40cm not 52.5
