Berghaus combine with the Brasher footwear company to bring you updated, refined versions of Britain's best-loved walking boots.
All Brasher's classic walking boots are now made under the Berghaus brand, so you're assured of the quality you're used to from both these trusted names.
The Brasher Hillmaster II was Britain's best selling hillwalking boot, and under Berghaus the design uses super-soft Pittard's leather, memory foam padding, and a Vibram version of their very effective mud-shedding sole.

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.
2 years old. Very pleased with them. I have done about 4000 miles and the heels and soles are worn flat. Stitching in the heel is going but wearable. Totally waterproof still. Will replace with same!
Seems to be very mixed reviews. Love them so far very strong, comfortable & waterproof, sturdy boot. I walk 4-6 miles a day typically through wet fields, grass, mud & they're perfect.
Having tired of getting wet feet with so called waterproof textile boots I thought I would try these "old style" boots. A bit heavier but they are comfortable & sturdy and so far totally waterproof
I have had two pares of these in a few months and both pares left leaked. Go Outdoors were great and swapped them no issue. Boots 1 out of 5 - Go Outdoors 5 out of 5. I have now tried another brand
After 2-3 months of light walking in lowland country the rand gradually separated from the leather upper. A replacement pair while equally comfortable are deteriorating in the same way.
Bought these about four years ago. Very comfortable, still fully waterproof, but tread on soles has worn really badly, so will not buy a replacement pair...
bought for light use on local trails, rand has started to pull away and has damaged the leather, letting in water. After owning an original Hillmaster boots for 8 years these are very disappointing.
I bought these boots as my Scarpa Terra boots were starting to feel uncomfortable. These are a good, sturdy boot that have taken the worst the Peak District and Scafell Pike has to offer.
Happy
Bought to replace my 10 y/o Brashers. 18 months in and the Berghaus boots are in bad shape. The seams are starting to split and I expect they will start leaking in the next month or so.
Poor!
After first 13mile walk in boots, feet were in a pretty bad shape, also the seams split after that walk. Wouldn't buy again
Strong, sturdy and very very comfortable. Warm and 100% waterproof. Great ankle support. Great grip on wet muddy ground. Feet bone dry after very wet muddy field walking. Very easy wipe down to clean.
The fit is terrible if you have wider feet. I tried both the 11 (way too big) and the 10 (way too small). Laces are very cheap. Berghaus seem to follow others in declining quality.
