Additional Review following failure of LCD display
Be aware - my LCD Display failed because rain water got into the unit. Go outdoors won't replace the unit under warranty as water damage is not covered. Disgraceful!!
Poor battery performance
Battery performance with this bike is very poor. Advertised at 45 miles, I am getting barely 21 miles before battery is flat. This is very disappointing.
Otherwise it’s a pleasant riding experience
Battery low capacity
Note although the spec on this bike looks decent, the battery has a small capacity therefore the claimed range of 40 to 60 miles is very optimistic.
You really need a battery of more than 11ah.
Fitting instructions poor. Went to a repair shop as trouble with the gears straight out of the box. I can select all 8 now but the chain jumps because it is faulty, the joining link is super tight.
