Made in a stylish blue colour that matches several of the Outwell tent collections, the Outwell Dreamcatcher Single has double valves for easy inflation and deflation, with a tough, durable polyester exterior and an anti-slip finish to its base.
R-Value: 6.7 (-30ºC)
I bought a double and two singles. I've had no end of problems. The material is just too thin. You can damage it with your finger nail. Outwell don't want to know outside of the warranty period.
Great product, simple to use and comfortable. Really quick service too.
Solid construction, self inflates to about 85% of hardness for us, but easy to add a few blows to make it solid. My wife slept on it a while ago, and got a good nights sleep, so that's a good benchmark. Comes with sturdy straps to keep in place once rolled up, and comes in a good quality bag this a bit of tolerance if you don't roll it perfectly.
Brilliant self inflating mat, it takes a long time to inflate (at least 30 mins) but has stayed inflated for over 2 days now with sleeping on it both nights. Pretty comfortable and most importantly it did not deflate in the night. Felt good.
Bought this with high expectations but bitterly disappointed. I've had mine for 2 years and it no longer holds air. I expect more from Outwell!! Complete waste of money.
Really nice item and not slippery on top which to me is a huge benefit. Really clever air valve system. More of a camping product than a hiking one.
Used about four time now leaks air not worth the money
Brilliant, comfortable but having trouble with deflating it.
Best roll mat I have come across so far.
Just spent a long weekend camping on a fold up camp bed with the dream catcher on top. I'm 6ft 1 and 15 stone and get regular bad backs so I was a little worried about how I would wake up! I have to say I'm really pleased with the mattress just let it expand naturally for 30 mins or so then closed the valve. I did try giving it a top up of air by blowing into it but I found it too hard to sleep on. I just released some air back out and it moulded to me. 10/10 from me!
Fancy a bit of posh camping? This sleeping mattress is the business, super comfortable and warm to lay on. Would recommend allowing it to self inflate to its own level before sealing off the air valves
I found that this mat needed some air letting out otherwise it was way too hard. Once you’ve let the right amount out it’s very comfortable and toasty warm. Had a great holiday and slept very well. I have a bad back so need the extra thickness otherwise I wake up in pain. This definitely worked a treat.
Having camped for too many years and tried everything going we thought it was time to treat ourselves to some comfy nights sleeping. I can honestly say that it is the most comfy nights sleep in a tent we have ever had. We were considering a double but after laying on them in the shop the 10cm single seemed better. To overcome the two singles separating we put a fitted sheet over them which kept them together. They are indeed very firm once inflated, I preferred mine a little less firm so let out a little air while laying on it, (another benefit of two singles) perfection !!. By the looks of the reviews some don't agree. I say give them a go, you won't be disappointed.
It’s rock solid when fully inflated and if you let some air out you just end up with your heavier parts touching the ground! Definitely not worth the money.
I've usually borrowed equipment for camping at festivals but this year I decided to buy my own mattress. I went for the 10 cm so that I could deflate it down if needed. It was warm to lie on and not lumpy like some mattresses I have tried. I found it worked best leaving the setting in the middle during the day so that it deflated if it was knelt on. This meant it was nicely inflated at the end of the day, to just close the valve before lying down. There was enough give in the shape of it so that it moulded around my little bit overweight body. I started off my festival with back problems but despite this the mattress was so comfy and I had painless sleep. I would recommend it to anyone who is worried about the comfort of sleeping on the floor. It was also easy for me roll it up and pack it away.
This provides enough depth to be comfortable on my side on uneven ground. It rolls back to a packable size and doesn't deflate.
Fantastic, really comfortable, like sleepy on your own mattress at home. Really worth the money we paid. Would recommend this product to anybody.
Used this last weekend camping and would recommend it for a decent nights sleep . Only thing was getting it deflated enough to fit back into the bag . But I'm sure trial and error with this one :)
Tried these instead of inflated mat or campbeds. (Will probably use with camp bed) Valve is odd: it cannot be fully closed so either fully open (mid position), or a one-way valve for either Deflate (out only) or Aerate (in only). If you partially deflate once lying to achieve a softer surface, the air leaves from your heaviest bits but as soon as you get off to even it out the air rushes back in & you're back to square 1. Store inflated (unrolled) if you can.
BRILL. Does more than it says on the tin.
I bought two of these single 4" ..one used twice, other three times, both leaking at same point. Plastic valve housing mount has pushed through material. Lots of reviews online about same fault.
