I have to confess that I don't use this as a washbowl ! It's SO useful for storage in my campervan . I put it on the cooker lid on a piece of non-slip mat and it stays put even on very bumpy roads. I use it fot stray items while travelling such as waterbottles, apples, cups I haven't put away...the list is endless ....and you can see what's there....BRILLIANT. I may have to get a 2nd one for maps and guide books between the fron seats. We have a smallish campervan so a "box" with handles is very useful & moveable.

You would think this is a silly gimmick but you'd be wrong. As a family of 5 we found this to be very useful. No need to drag all your plates etc to the washing sink thats bound to be busy or dirty. a quick boil of the kettle and away you go. So much better! The item itself is very well made and has been used many times with no sign of wear and tear. Highly recommended!
