Surprisingly comfortable, great night's sleep!
After my old trusty air bed gave up the ghost this week on our first camping trip of the year, I took a bit of a risk and replaced it with this self inflating mat instead. Price was an issue as it wasn't a planned purchase, so I chose the thickest of the lower cost mats that I could see in the store and at the discount card price. I thought it was a reasonable amount of money to risk. I was a bit dubious that at only 5cm thick it would be comfortable, but after trying it out I'm sold! I like a firm bed so I found it 100% better than an air bed as it seemed a lot more supportive on my back and as quite an active sleeper there was no 'boing-ing' about with every movement in the night to wake me up like with the air bed so I slept like a log! The foam core is also a lot more insulating than an air bed so also kept me a lot warmer amd protected from the cold ground in April. It's a very large mat both length and width ways so would be ideal for taller people or those who move about a lot in their sleep like me! Just watch out that it will actually fit in your tent before purchase if you are pushed for space. Comes with straps and a carrying bag for packing away and is very easy to use.

The mats don't deflate through the nite like some and the extra width is what really makes these worth the money, I have two but will be replacing my other mats with these as and when.

Brilliant Find
Bought this mat for camping / festivals. I have used air beds before and this was 100 x more comfortable. The extra width compared to other mats made me decide on this one. Longest use so far has been 4 nights in a row and it was like sleeping on a firm piece of memory foam. I won't camp without it now!
