Features
A great value static rope for caving and general purpose rigging.
Manufactured with a thicker sheath than a standard climbing rope the Beal Antipodes is stiffer and much more abrasion resistant. The higher sheath percentage also reduces the amount the rope stretches. Less dynamic rope such as this providing more stable conditions to work from and for jumaring/abseiling. Note - This rope is designed for static loading only and should not be used for lead climbing.

Beal Static Rope, 01 November 2011

I bought 30 metres earlier this year and it's amazingly versatile stuff for belay rigging. I think 30 metres is about the minimum length for rigging a two point anchors though. After ages spent faffing about with slings and things, this makes belay rigging, especially for top roping really easy. Wouldn't be without it now.
