It must be up when you collapse it. Please see U Tube video of C Tec pop up. It is exactly the same and there is a full demonstration on how to do it. Once you watch this it will collapse is seconds.

Can anyone help me. I can erect this but I cannot dismantle it.

Bought for 12year old son. Able to put up but carnt seem to get it put back down.
Any utube videos or instructions are non existence.

I opened this and was surprised to find a pole broken and a 6 inch rip in the material, they seem to have sent me a broken return, as its 6 weeks since I bought it Go Outdoors said tough luck.

Easyest way to erect hold the top in one hand let the legs fall open check all have clicked in apart from the two short outrigger type ones at the front then hold the top mechanism and fold them out

Perfect to use on your static caravan decking for those windier days to sit in. Four of those self tapping eyes screwed into the decking and four clip on small carbine hooks will secure it solidly.

Yes it does go up in 30-40 seconds easy to erect and sturdy goes down fairly easy too just push down and compress at the top the ends of the legs push the clip forward to bend them back

30 seconds to put up? Yes! Integrated ground sheet? No! :(

I bought this shelter to use for sea fishing from the beach. A selling point for me was that it had a built in ground sheet. First time I used it was on the beach and I soon descoverwd that there is no such ground sheet. Other than that it’s a fairly good shelter for the money and goes up quickly and just as quick to come down once you have the back of it.

Not quite so easy to take down until you have the knack and have done a few times.

For any who has purchased this and is struggling its as simple as this. Right a the top there is a small hydraulic cylinder which extends once the shelter is put up, this forces the pairs of protruding arms away from each other and creates tension on the arms. To dimantle simply squeeze near to the cylinder to collapse it by compressing the arms toward each other. This has to done at the arms as near as you can towards the cylinder otherwise you could inadvertently snap the arms
