The Shakespeare Agility 2 Boat Rod offers anglers an amazing rod at a fantastic price point, available in two different classes; these rods are designed for saltwater boat fishing and have stunning cosmetics and quality.
There are two 7ft rod models in this range, one with a 20lb class and the other with a 30lb class rating. The 20lb version has a supple tip and has a fast transfer of power from the mid-section to the butt of the rod to give it a lock up point for bigger fish.
The 20lb can be used when fishing for big rays, turbot and tope in deeper water and works great when general reef fishing and light wreck fishing for conger, ling and cod.
The 30lb Boat model is much better for deeper water and when the tide is faster. It utilises a fast blank taper with power in the lower mid-section and butt. This rod is best used when fishing for big conger, cod and ling and the long fore grip allows you to have both hands above the reel for hard fighting against a big fish.
The rods are both fitted with quality Zirconium Oxide guides and with slim, durable carbon blanks. The handle is made of hard wearing, shaped EVA foam and includes a high quality reel seat.
The Shakespeare Agility 2 Boat Rod features a 2 piece design and has amazing blue metallic coloured blanks with silver colour accents throughout. The rods are both supplied with their own rod bags and you can select your choice of model from our drop down menu.
