How to Wash

Before first use, thoroughly oil your leather product to prevent drying and cracking. Oiling tack makes it supple and prevents it from drying out and cracking/breaking during use.

Regularly clean with a damp sponge and saddle soap to maintain soft, solid leather.

Use warm water to dampen the sponge, squeezing all excess water out before using it, and wipe down all bridle pieces to remove sweat and dirt. Allow the leather to dry naturally before applying saddle soap to help remove any stubborn dirt/grease left over.

Pay special attention to areas under pressure and exposed to saliva, such as bit straps, bottom back strap and reins where they come in contact with bit.

Disassemble the bridle and apply conditioner regularly with a soft cloth or sponge after cleaning with saddle soap.

How to Store

Once clean and dry, reassemble and store the bridle with reins looped through the top back strap. Store tack in a climate-controlled area to prevent damage from extreme conditions. Use a fleece-lined bridle bag to prevent moisture build-up.
