The lightest tent in the OEX range boasts a sleek, low-profile design and a generously sized interior.
The Phoxx I UL has a bare weight of just 715g and comes with an oversized interior to accommodate taller backpackers. Equipped with N-Liten Sil/Nylon* fabric, it benefits from impressive strength and waterproof performance while packing down to an extremely compact size.
The ultralight shelter is perfect for solo wild camps and backpacking expeditions in the UK. It has a single-side entrance with a small porch for storing boots and kit. If you need more room, the shelter can be extended with the compatible OEX Feral UL Tarp (420 grams, sold separately).
The Phoxx has a single OEX Endura Pole made from high-tensile aluminium that adds strength to your setup without adding grams. It also has a small additional rear pole that increases the foot space for a more comfortable sleeping environment.
*Sil/Nylon is lighter and more flexible than PU-coated polyester fabric. The fabric repels moisture on both sides, preventing condensation build-up and significantly reducing the risk of mould and mildew. It offers the best waterproofing available and can be seam-sealed with silicon rather than tape, helping further reduce the tent's weight. Although not always necessary, each tent comes supplied with a tube of Silicone Seam Sealer to re-seal any gaps for improved waterproof performance.

Tent failings
Never imagined there’d be so much condensation build up inside tent
Had built up on inner skin so much was dripping onto sleeping bag.
Breathable???
Needs two vents at either end not one at bottom
Plenty of space inside and in the porch. The pack size is unreal compared to the jackal which I had before. Will be using again
Not sure about using in rain but might try one day.
