Introducing a first from OEX, the Vertex Lite roof tent. Designed to attach securely to the top of your vehicle, this comfortable off-ground sleeping area can be set up in seconds making overnight camping missions a breeze. Made from strong and lightweight aluminium, it features an easy-to-unfold five-pole frame. Its hardy 3000mm HH Oxford ripstop outer, finished with double silver treatment, provides thermal insulation and dependable protection from the elements.

Spacious for one and snugger for two, the tent has three windows offering a commanding 360-degree view from your Vertex Lite when the door is open. The built-in 3-inch foam mattress offers high levels of comfort after a long day on the hill.

One of the lightest roof tents on the market, the Vertex weighs just 37.4 kg (including its telescopic ladder), making it manageable for two people to lift. It has a maximum ladder load capacity of 150kg. The Vertex is compatible with roof bars that have a maximum Dynamic Load rating of 50Kg or greater and, unlike larger roof tents, can be used on smaller hatchback cars fitted with roof bars. A handy repair kit is included and lantern hanging points and two internal storage pockets help you to stay tidy and organised.

The OEX Vertex Lite is the perfect no-nonsense adventure tent - simply pull the car over and pop the tent up.

Great Value

Great buy. Experienced heavy rain and avoided condensation by partially unzipping the top of the windows. Ensured the entrance was downwind. Need to buy an awning and mattress topper, it's too thin.

Vertex small issues.

Had mine 2 years now only let down for me is it could do with a vent for condensation and an awning to help in the rain to keep door way dryer.A bit better/ thicker mattress would be nice to.

Good little set up

Gets quite stuffy and condensed inside, and the roof doesn’t stay up protecting our from the door entrance so does get wet if raining, but other than that very roomy and design is well!

Great with adaptation

I use this in Europe for quick pitching. I added a custom made memory foam topper as the supplied mattress is hard on the hips. You to get condensation inside wipe it down with a small towel no prob

Badly designed
3 out of 5

This roof tent is so badly designed it needs a whole rethink. From the badly designed entrance so that if it's raining you let all the water and the damp issue is worse than any other tent I've owned

Great for being on the move

We have just been away with this roof tent, in torrential rain and strong winds.
The door could be better designed but we kept dry and snug. I love how quick it is to pitch and the weight.

Great product

Great product easy to install and set up. Would be ideal if they were to bring out an awning so you can climb in and out without getting wet when it's raining and have a sitting area so you can chill.

Bad designed door, gets wet and damp inside.
3 out of 5

Door is badly designed. Mattress gets wet when getting in and out in rain.
Gets damp, in any weather. Vents are poor and let rain in, if opened when raining. Get a different make.
Wouldnt buy again!

Good quality, poor design!
3 out of 5

I was impressed with the quality and value for the price. All the materials looked really good.
Tent gets really damp and not very good ventilation. Gets soaked when getting in and out in rain. Avoid!

Needs a rethink
3 out of 5

I bought this with much hope and anticipation. Sadly it didn't live up to my hopes. The ladder to the tent would not lock in place meaning it dropped a 4 or 5 inches a few times making it unstable

Great product

I would definitely recommend this product. Used it for 2 nights camping. Easy to set up and very comfortable to sleep in. This is as good as the more expensive type in other brands.
