The Crusade features a Vibram sole made from high-performance rubber that offers unparalleled sticky grip and ground adaptability underfoot, so you feel confident with every stride no matter what terrain you’re on.
The eVent waterproofing ensures that water and moisture stay on the outside of the boot but remain breathable enough to let air escape the boot, so your feet don’t get clammy.

Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Not as good as old High Gear
Bought them online, bad decision.
1. Full sizes did not fit my feet optimally - between too small and I choose too big .
2. Eyes for laces too sharp and difficult to adjust.
3. Too warm for walking.

Seen a couple of reviews on these boots rated low.
These boots are superior comfort straight out the box. I took the leap and didn't regret it. These are very well made with the vibram sole. Try them!
Not good
Not waterproof and I'm on my 4th pair of laces position and angle of eyelets wears through laces. Also the toe caps are coming away from the boot.
Looked better than they evidently were
I'm very choosy about my boots, I wear them daily for work more than hiking but I had to take these new OEX boots back before an outing, the lace loops and hooks are simply to tight to allow movement
Great boots while they lasted, kept my feet dry and warm during a very wet winter. But they’ve split at the back just short of a year after purchase and I’ve lost receipt
