Key featuresexpand_more

Its geometry is more relaxed than a road bike. It features a slacker head angle and a sloped top tube. The geometry handles the roughness of the trail and offers plenty of cockpit space and standover height for its rider to move the bike around when riding trails.

The Dark Peak is built with a strong hydroformed Aluminium 6061 alloy frame, and it has a carbon fibre fork to reduce weight and suck-up trail vibrations. It is equipped with a Shimano Claris 16 speed drivetrain and Clarks CMD-22 mechanical disc brakes. Both are controlled by Shimano STR2000 shifters which provide an integrated brake and gear lever system, keeping the dropped gravel handlebar clean and tidy.

The finishing touch is a pair of WTB Riddler tyres, which are fast on paved surfaces and offer plenty of grip on loose and cambered trail surfaces. Fatter than skinny little road bike tyres, they add much needed shock absorbency to this trail ripping hybrid.

Feature Highlights

Carbon fibre fork – A stiff and lightweight fork that reduces vibrations from uneven trail surfaces.

Tapered head tube – Improved fork durability and stability.

Shimano Claris 16 speed drivetrain – A great value drivetrain with an integrated brake and gear lever system.

Clarks CMD22 disc brakes – The benefits of disc brakes with the ease of mechanical action.

Mudguard and rack mounts – Adventure ready; load your bike with panniers and mudguards.

WTB Riddler – Fast on paved surfaces, grippy on loose.

Internal cabling – Slick cabling hidden out of the way.

Not ready for collection, return next day, back brake caliper needs replacing. 1st ride, back brake came adrift, head bearings really loose. I shouldn't have to fix a new bike. FD needs adjusting.
