The Calibre Rake is a serious hardtail mountain bike equipped with reliable parts from Shimano and RockShox. It’s built to be a tough and confidence inspiring singletrack rocket. The perfect 29er for getting off-road and ideal for riders that don’t want the expense and maintenance associated with full suspension bikes.
The Rake is our durable and affordable 29er. The large 29” wheels make this bike fast rolling over any terrain. It’s got a solid 6061 Alu tube set, refined geometry, and a selection of components that you can count on. We’ve steepened the seat angle to improve its climbing ability and increased its reach to create a more stable and composed bike.
The RockShox Judy forks with adjustable rebound damping paired with the grippy WTB tyres allow you to push your riding ability to the limit and the Clarks M2 hydraulic brakes give you the stopping power to keep you composed and controlled in all conditions.
A relaxed headtube combined with a steep seat angle and a long top tube create a composed ride that climbs and descends confidently. It’s a great choice for anyone starting out mountain biking or looking to upgrade to a modern trail bike on a sensible budget.

Bought this for local trail riding, brakes are good, tyres are great in mud and roll well, overall it seems built to a good standard. Seat is HARD so replaced, first 40+km muddy trail ride was great!
