It has a bellows tongue to keep out debris with a sticky rubber outsole for traction and an air cushion in the heel to absorb shock and add stability.
The Merrell Men's Accentor Walking Shoe has a durable, breathable suede and mesh upper with Aegis® antimicrobial solution to reduce shoe odour and keep your feet fresh.

Excellent walking shoes
Now on my 3rd pair because these are excellent. They are waterproof, comfortable and durable. Why my 3rd pair? Because I wear them alot and eventually they expire - but after a decent life.

Great walking shoes
These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever had, they are waterproof I can't understand people on here with bad reviews, worn Merrill for last 35 years with no problems.

Lasted 6 months of light use
Waterproofing failed at first sight of wet weather. Upper lasted 6 months before lace system failed. Sole barely worn. Would not recommend these or buy merrell again

They’re ok
Had 2 pairs of these now and although comfortable and waterproof to start with it doesn’t last, I use them for day to day use and walking to dog so nothing challenging and they last less than a year

Bad quality don’t buy
Had for 6 months , they are no longer waterproof and they have come unglued around the edges/sole of the shoes. fair bit of use in the maintains, never the less don’t expect this to happen in 6 months

Comfortable but not hard wearing
Very comfortable and waterproof but they don’t last. The grip wears out after 3/4 months of daily use walking approx 5 mile.

Excellent
It seems that quality is variable on these shoes. I've had them for several years now and need to buy a new pair as they're so good. Exactly what they claim - comfortable, good grip, waterproof. Fab!

They are waterproof but.....
Definitely waterproof and great grip.....they tend to wear out quickly but I love them for comfort, grip and waterproofing....mine tend to wear out on the fabric above the little toe for some reason.

Avoid
Keep the receipt if you risk buying these. They are not waterproof and the laces pull through the top holes within 6 months of light use. Won’t be risking merrell footwear again

Disintegrated - Not fit for purpose
Had 2 pairs-both fallen apart within 2 months/160miles of dog walking. Ok for walking on pavement casual use but avoid any kind of trail walking as they will tear/split & soles will detach.

Not waterproof and split after 3 months
I bought mine in July and already the leather has split on the sides and they haven't ever been waterproof. Only used for dog walking and a few longer walks in the peaks.

Not waterproof
These shoes are not waterproof. Half an hour in short wet grass and my socks were soaking. I now need to buy some more and keep these for dry weather use.

Great shoes
Purchased these shoes from the Loughborough store. Used everyday for a month to walk the dog. No slips on wet ground and feet bone dry. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Not durable
Great looking shoe, and really comfortable, however I used mine every day to walk the dog on light trail.Within 6 months they starting pulling away near the sole.
Good for casual use, not daily use.

I’ve now had several pairs of these shoes including the previous version of this one. They are the best walking shoes I’ve ever owned, instantly comfortable, hard wearing and still waterproof!
