It has a bellows tongue to keep out debris with a sticky rubber outsole for traction and an air cushion in the heel to absorb shock and add stability.
The Merrell Women's's Accentor Walking Shoe has a durable, breathable suede and mesh upper with Aegis® antimicrobial solution to reduce shoe odour and keep your feet fresh.

Merrell waterproof
I feel cheated, these walking trainers are not waterproof at all and cost over £80.00.

Comfortable but slippy on wet surfaces
Fit and feel of these is very good. However, they have zero grip on wet surfaces, as I suffer with muscular dystrophy this is big problem.
Will be going back to my cheap regatta with better grip.

Very comfortable lightweight and waterproof
On to my second pair of these walking shoes. Old pair looking a bit jaded but still waterproof after a couple of years use. Very comfortable from the start.

Leaking
Sadly these shoes have disappointed.Not waterproof at all and the fabric split after wearing for a very shot time.
I have happily worn Merrell over the years but the quality of this shoe poor.

Absolute comfort
Bought these shoes last year. First wear was in very wet weather. I was surprised by the reviews as I have had no trouble with wet feet. Recently stuck in mud on a soggy dog walk and no leaks!

Bought for goretex properties....but absolutely NOT waterpro
As per my title. Goretex products should be waterproof. Poor.

Out of the Box and Across Hadrian’s Wall
With no breaking in at all, these saw me straight across the whole of Hadrian’s Wall. They held up in all sorts of weather, kept me dry when I dropped into a bog, and felt great over the crags. Brill!

Not waterproof!
Bought these as stated they were waterproof.....they are not!......very wet feet after 30 mins walking through wet grass!! Such a shame as they are really comfortable and needed no breaking in.

I bought these in August.
They are not waterproof even in short grass. Feet soaking wet.
They have worn at the front where creases form.
Need new shoes already.
