A style favoured by campers, glampers and scout groups alike, the Polycotton 5m Bell Tent is a standout tent with a polycotton mix canvas construction. Polycotton is a highly breathable fabric which is brilliant at reducing tent condensation; which in turn creates a comfortable climate inside the tent. More breathable than polyester tents, polycotton canvas tents are also incredibly durable and can stand up to the sun’s UV rays for longer.
The 5m Bell Tent from Hi Gear has space to sleep up to 8 people comfortably. The durability of this polycotton Bell Tent from Hi Gear is backed up by a heavy gauge reinforced PVC groundsheet which can be zipped in or removed easily to create a floating canopy.

Fantastic VFM
I’d been looking at bell tents online, and they were much more expensive than this one. Albeit the material is polycotton, this tent is fantastic value for money. I have been sleeping it in ever since
Great fun
Easy to install and great fun for the kids, had ours up for 3 weeks now and no issues at all, we did also get the ground sheet which was definitely a good idea.
Not fit for purpose
Great tent with one flaw . Only bought it as it has a stove jack . Well the stove jack has a whole already which does not fit normal flashing kits or you use it with the rain coming in .
Brilliant bell.
It’s beautiful looking, lots of space inside, easy to put up. Love the accessories- the carpet, the groundsheet - all reasonably priced. We’ve used it once so I’ll update at the end of the summer.
Bought our bell tent last October, we had added a stove which means we have camped right through winter as well as spring, used on both long and short breaks its perfect.
