Bought these boots last week, went a brief hill walk to break them in, which they didint need! Then went up cairngorm and walk round the ridge and back and all I can say is wow there 10/10.

These are the worst boots I have ever owned. They are definitely not waterproof!! Even walking in wet grass results in soaking fee.

Bought a pair, having had 3 pairs of GTX 3 Mid before. The previous gen would last a good 2-3 years, this gen barely lasts a year. 10% price increase, for 33-50% of the wear.

Title says it all. I am a dog walker. I need dry feet. If a product is described as waterproof, it should be exactly that. These boots leaked on their first encounter with water. Not worth the premium

Got 10.5 size (10 normally) and they are so comfortable. Haven’t had any waterproof issues but have noticed after having them for under a year that the soles have worn out, especially at the heel.

These are very lightweight but they're more like trainers or trail shoes, they simply don't offer enough support. Have caused me knee tendon injuries on uneven terrain.

2 days old and 3 dog walks in the Wasely hills through wet and dew sodden grass and already they are damp inside the right toe end. Very light and good grip but I need dry feet more than grip.

Purchased in May and leaking after three months, wear. I’d love to tell you that I use them to trek across the Himalayas. But all they are used for his walking the dog around the village.

1 star due to comfort. Less than a year to wear through the rubber of the sole completely walking my dog in local area. Leak in multiple places so feet get wet in long grass never mind in poor weather

I hike jungle terrain every week approx 20km in tropical conditions and after 10 months the soles came away and had to have them totally reglued. And, they are NOT waterproof. Disappointing.

I've only had these 10 months and the soles at the back have completely worn away. According to salomon when trying to claim the warranty, these boots cannot be used on concrete!!! Terrible

Purchased these after having quality issues with the Quest 4 High. Don't bother, these split across the toes in 8 weeks, returned and the same happened again. Salomon needs to sort out the quality!

Saved up for these lasted eight hikes stitching failed just passed as foot bends will not buy this brand again until they up their game

Brand has lost its credibility. They are comfortable, they are not waterproof, the sole wears through quickly. Salomon 700 miles is not abuse or fair wear and tear! Salomon get back in the game!

I am usually a size 11.5 uk but they only had 12.5 in stock however they fit well. Did ingleborough in them on a wet day, excellent grip and comfort. Laces came loose often but new laces will sort.

I was very disappointed to receive these boots as the colour does not match the advertised picture, more grey than black.

The boots feel really comfortable and supportive at first. I have now owned them for 5 months, maybe walked 150 miles and the souls are almost worn out and the right boot leaks. Just not good enough!

Comfy boots looks good but yet to challenge the peaks. As promised they also matched a price cheaper than quoted in the shop and a further 10% also deducted from the price. Well done gooutdoors.
