Key features
Made using Rab's Proflex fabric, it combines the soft, flexible nature of a softshell with the protection and durability of a hardshell, conforming to your body shape and wicking away sweat. Proflex fabric uses a waterproof PU membrane sandwiched between two high gauge knitted layers. The outer layer is very thin, soft to the touch, and super-stretchy; the inner layer maximises moisture movement to keep you dry when on the move.
The high-performance mountain jacket is lightweight and easily packable, with a helmet-compatible hood, YKK AquaGuard zips, fully taped seams, adjustable cuffs and hem to ensure high functionality for alpine sport.

Nice looking jacket but quickly lost the ability to keep dry

Excellent for it's purpose
This is more like a waterproof soft shell jacket, not a full on hard shell. the Hydrostatic Head is 10,000mm. It's great for days walking in milder weather, nice and stretchy and it doesn't rustle!

Not waterproof
I bought this thinking it would be waterproof as stated, but after a few wears in the rain I'm not impressed. Lets water in around the neck area and that subsequently soaks you on the inside.

The real problem with it was that it didn't stay waterproof more than 6 months. Repelled water very well initially but I've followed manufacturers guidelines to apply waterproofer but didn't improve.
