Constructed from a 2.5-layer Pertex® Revolve fabric with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, the Men’s Downpour Eco Pants will keep you dry whilst walking and exploring. Thanks to the knee-length side zips and elasticated waistband, they can easily be pulled over trousers and walking boots in unexpected showers and are easily packed down to fit in your rucksack when on the move.
Using a polyester outer and membrane, the pants are 100% recycled and also have the future potential to be fully recycled at the end of their life.

These are not waterproof
I splashed out on these after having a cheap pair of overtrousers for for many years >10 that were getting a little tired but still waterproof.
These are not they leak like a sieve!

Useless- leaked at first wear! Second pair also leaked!!!
Leaked on their very first wear, soaking my trousers beneath. The store kindly exchanged them for another pair of the same to try. The replacement pair leaked first wear too- useless, waste of time!

Perform As Needed In Hard Continuous Rain....And Breath Well
Went for a 30 mile hike recently. Continuous rain just after the -8 degrees we have recently had. Beading was great. Undergarments completely dry (bamboo leggings+trousers) ...Very pleased with them.

Very good
Really good at keeping the rain out without sweating. No pockets, which is a shame at this price point. Buy a pair at least one size bigger than you need, to pull over boots and trousers easily.

I spent a long time trying to find truly waterproof trousers, unfortunately these weren't them. Within 35 minutes in light rain they let the water in. RAB name is off my list of quality garments.
