The Brasher Traveller Walking Pole puts your comfort first by eliminating pressure on both the upper half and bottom half - your lower spine, hips, knees and legs. The telescopic construction lets you adjust the length to suit your height and the aluminium alloy material is lightweight yet tough.
Suitable for both hard and soft terrain, and even and uneven grounds this walking pole will aid your walking performance. Terrific for travellers, it can be folded down into a compact size for easy transport.
This walking pole will aid you on steep ascents and reduces the strain on your thighs and lower legs on the descents.
A TPR handle with deep grooves ensures slip resistance, even when handled with wet or slippery hands.

The poles have a twist lock mechanism on the two lower sections as well as the elastic. They never came apart for me. Only complaint is the irritating “chink” noise internally on hitting the ground.
Bought a brasher pole whilst on holiday last year . Used it for the third walk this year, and it snapped...so now it's in the bin...I suppose you only get what you pay for...
I bought these on holiday in the UK so can’t return. Really great for awhile, although it’s true that in mud they would come apart- now after 6 months they are coming apart on sidewalks as well.
This is a very compact pole but the sections pull apart when used in mud or any sticky surface, making it unusable. Only usable on hard ground.
Very compact, light, quality build. Reviewers above can't have screwed the non clamp section in tight enough. Must admit no instructions to do so came with the poles.
It's a shame, as it's a pole that fits in a 22L rucksack (when folded). But only friction holds it together and it collapses if the tip gets slightly stuck/obstructed, thus it's useless. Returned
Packs down nice and small and is very light, the grip is comfortable, only downside is the sections come apart too easily if pushed into soft ground
What I required very impressed thanks
Returned to store after one usage. Kept getting stuck in soft ground, which you can't really avoid in Scotland, then pulling apart. Happened countless times so had to finish the walk without them.
