The Cortes Octagon is something a bit different. Part classic Yurt design, part space age mothership, the single large room and 360 degree views make this a fantastic space for outdoor living.
Just about as versatile as a family tent can be - the Coleman Cortes Octagon is a single large room that can be used for luxury camping, family holidays, garden parties...the list goes on!
Large mesh windows all around give fantastic views, while the full-height external curtains and sewn in groundsheet offer full waterproof protection. You can even remove the flysheet entirely and just use the inner and poles to create a large insect-free space that's ideal for hot, dry days.
The front door is hinged (like a proper door) which makes getting in and out a lot easier than most tents, and the wheeled carry bag makes it easy to get from the car to your chosen pitch. A clever combination of design and practicality.

Not suitable for camping in UK
This tent is not recommended if you are camping in the UK. There is no insulation at all. Good for rainy days but with no porch, the tent gets muddy very quickly. Fits 4 at a push, not 8!

Good tent, poor functionality
Disappointed to give this a bad review because the space inside of the tent is superb.
There is no compartment to stop a draft coming in, meaning it's useless in mild and cold weather.
Very airy and fresh for summer
Great size and easily fits a family of 5 and two dogs!! No condensation due to design and just a lovely fresh feeling, especially in summer. It is maybe a bit airy for colder seasons.
Not for cold weather
This tent is not for cold weather. Mesh all around and on top lets the air flow and never warms up. Room divider is a joke. Wont fit back in the carry case. Only good for your garden on hot days.
Purchased for camping in the South of France, which is what this ONE SEASON tent is designed for. It's excellent in 30C of heat.
No good for UK. Too draughty.
