Pegs do not hold, high wind snapped front and back pegs. Then two poles buckled in the wind and snapped leaving me with painful and invisible fibreglass splinters in my hands. Pretty tent but weak.
Happy. The porch is a big plus. Space for 2 adults; 4 would be pushing it imho. Kept me and my kit dry in thunderstorms. Does get hot inside in the sun - would help if the side windows opened.
Bought tent last year have used a few times. After 1st camp with it, 1 Pole Elastic snapped had to be rethreaded. Ventilation not the best and has some condensation issues. Sturdy and waterproof.
Great little weekend tent from Hi-Gear, really solid in bad winds and pouring rain, love the all around windows
For the price it's a no brainer for a couple with pooch or a parent and couple of kids
Why would you make such a good tent and put plastic pegs with it, they don’t go into the ground and just break, while your getting the tent pick up some pegs too
picked this tent up to use as a drive-away awning (with the front being flat) after we lost our drive away awning in Storm Antoni in Cornwall, worked perfect so easy to set up, withstood big winds
We needed a new tent so we brought this just over a year ago, we have pitched it and it rained and there are so many leaks making everything wet. Unless we have faulty tent DO NOT BUY.
The design of the tent is good, plenty of space with a porch, great for family. However, the quality of the product is far from satisfactory which 3 out of 4 poles broke suddenly during first use.
Brought this last year .used it for a weekend just to try it out no problem .been away this year for two weeks easy to put up and take down .plenty of room for the two of us .like the sleep.part
Wanted a new tent that we could stand up in rather than crawl into! Plenty of headroom and perfect size for the two of us. Well vented and plenty of windows. Built in canopy is great!
Good size for a family of three Really spacious for what we need.We love the little porch area, great for drizzle and the 'blackout' bedrooms helped our daughter sleep. Fab on a windy night too!
Have sent this tent but have heard nothing back for you can you please help thanks .
Quality product
Had this out on 2 autumn trips, including during a severe weather warning in Scottish highlands when rained for 3 days straight! Easy to put up, completely dry, roomy, great storage pockets, recommend
Great for a couple or a group of 4! Pros -Spacious,bright,warm, lots of storage! Cons - lots of condensation in the morning but manageable, trip hazard going into the tent. Other than that, I love it!
We bought this as our first "family" tent when our little girl was 5.
Three years on and endless camping trips in droughts and storms it is still going strong!
We had one pole snap in a storm, yes they are fibreglass poles, you learn these things as a "camper" easily replaced with a kit.
Black out bedrooms mean we get excellent sleep compared to some of our friends.
Now our little girl is bigger we need more space so have gone for the bigger version.
Waterproof. Spacious. With the right maintenance it's still in perfect condition.
Cannot recommend it enough - our friends even invested in the same one
