Key features
Made with a two-pole tunnel design, the OEX Jackal III Person Tent is easy to pitch and provides a sturdy base to rest after a day of adventure. Its waterproof flysheet and groundsheet withstand heavy rain, while the breathable polyester inner fabric helps to ventilate the tent when the weather is warm and sunny.
There’s a porch storage area so you can keep your kit separate from your sleeping area while still keeping it safe and sheltered. The Jackal 3 also comes with internal storage pockets to keep your essentials neatly organised and lantern hanging points so you can illuminate the tent before you sleep.

Great value - velcro door top can blow open but easy fix
Owned for 2 years and very pleased with it. Stood up to heavy rain with no leaking. Only issue is velcro fastening at top of door which can blow open in high wind. Wife sewed additional toggles to fix

Good but fatally flawed
Perfect shaped and great waterproofness, but... Those poles take some getting in, I'm 17stone and I'd say built like a prop forward, I can only just get them in, the Inner falls out when packed away.

Fantastic and affordable
Fantastic tent at an affordable price. Tent goes up in minutes and it can be done solo. Dry and comfortable inside. Door is in 2 parts, mesh and seal for airflow depending on weather.

Good little tent
Used in heavy downpours and thunderstorms, tent held up really well. Outer pitch first is a great feature of this tent. Can leave inner attached for quick pitch

Cracking Tent on a Budget
If you're on a budget, definitely consider this tent. The features on this tent at £79 are unparalleled, even has aluminium poles! Kept us dry in heavy rain and feels sturdy once pitched - roomy too!

Condensation is bad. Almost...
Condensation is bad. Almost impossible to put the poles in. Pinched myself about 20 times. Like a sweat box. Porch takes on water. It's impossible to get threw the tiny door, if you do you get soaked.

Great tent affordable price
Reviewing as I’m wanting to know if someone knows why the tent door is velcro at the top? Heavy rain or snow pushes Velcro apart and allows wet weather in. Racked my brain and seems pointless design?

Great tent for £89 - easy pitch, strong & dry - annoying bag
Room for 2 adults if you’re not very tall. I’m 6ft and at the limit of tent. Porch is handy for gear. Wild camped Snowdonia during storms upto 50mph and heavy rain. Stayed dry. Would recommend.

Porch gets very wet on the ground sheet so you can't store anything—lots of condensation in main pod.
Biggest flaw though is that one of the poles has broken & we can't get a replacement. Rubbish.
