Kept me dry in torrential conditions in the Highlands. Only gripe is the 3 velcro strips at the top of the door aren't up to the task, as soon as the wind picks up they come apart, better with a zip.
Bought the Jackle 2 but didn’t get to use it for a year, the first time I put it up one of the poles split and you don’t seem to be able to get replacements anywhere.
I've used this tent a few times for wild camps on Dartmoor. It's held up to some pretty harsh weather keeping me sheltered and dry. Great design, easy to pitch and plenty of room for me and my gear.
Very happy with this tent , used 5 times with no issues , heavy rain no problem , very little condensation , Very spacious for 1 person but plenty of room for 2 , would defo buy again
one problem, the poles can be a bit tricky to house into the holes at the end of the poles however excellent performance even in big storms on the Scottish coast it kept me dry in very heavy downpour.
Held up well during wet & windy weather at loch Lomond. Little to no condensation. Easy to erect & plenty of space if used for one person. Bit too big for solo backpacking tent though. Very happy.
Ideal for kayaking expedition, spacious and robust, weatherproof to a high standard. I found the poles difficult to insert into the clips, one pole snapped, but was easily replaced. Maybe a nack.
Will be buying this tent again.I went away last year and I got stuck in torrential rain and wind which lasted days. After the first night I woke up on the site and every other tent had gone.Amazingtent
Sturdy and robust, quick to pitch and withstands the elements ,£ for £ the best tent ive ever owned!
Bought this tent for a trip around the North of Scotland. Withstood 12-14 hours of solid rain on one day/night, woke up bone dry. Highly recommend for anyone worrying about the wet weather.
Super strong metal poles take some strength to get into place, main door offers mesh or waterproof sheet [or both] and the outside porch is very handy. Packs up 3.5 bananas long and feels quality
Used on a camping trip to Scotland. Wild camped on a mountain with no issues even at high winds. Easy to put up and take down. Very spacious inside and handy little porch area and inside pockets.
Just returned from a wild camp at Red Tarn in the Lake district, high winds in the 40s, heavy rain. This little tent held strong through the night. stayed dry all night, the wind really tested it.
