I was very happy with this tent in fine and showery weather.
In 1st storm one end of the sleeping compartment became wet. In the next a storm I woke at 3am to find an inch of water through the tent.
Used this tent to hike the WHW at the end of October. Its a bit heavy but for the space you get inside and how easy it is to set up its great for longer hikes if you can carry the extra weight
Super spacious and easy to put up, plenty of space to relax and store your gear.
This tent took a battering in the Lakes this month from strong winds/rain, and held like rock.
Great value for money
Took this to creamfields for 4 days during Storm Lilian, tent was bombproof stayed solid during the terrential wind and rain and no leaks.
Straightforward to erect, with colour coding for attaching the poles. Easy to get in and out of tent as not having to crawl.
Stood up to very heavy rain very well. Roomy overnight shelter for one.
I`ve had this tent for 18 months now, used it about 5 or 6 times in all weathers. Quick and easy to errect, spacious and very waterproof. It`s an excellent tent for motorcycle camping. Highly recommen
Only used a couple of times. No wind or bad weather and the poles have bent. Wouldn't trust it in bad weather so I'll dump it
Easy to put up and roomy inside. I use it for one person camping and its really roomy for that. Might be a bit cramped for 2 people. If used with the OEX tarp for outside cooking etc its really good
A tent that's snug for 2 people but manageable. Went camping in it my self for 2 nights and the 2nd night was a thunderstorm. Held up to the rain and wind perfectly and no condensation either.
At 6’4” this tent was great for lying down and also being able to sit up inside. Loads of room for kit inside and fitted in my motorcycle panniers which was a bonus! Stood up to a heavy nights rain.
Easy to remember how to put up and down after first use. Feels nice and spacious inside and its double side opening is useful for shade in summer. Minimal condensation and sleeps two comfortably.
I've been camping with this tent on the side of mountains in torrential rain and vicious winds and it still holds through. As long as you position the tent in the right direction, you're sorted.
Had this tent for a year now and it has held up well in some fairly bad weather. Primarily use it for camping solo for which it offers a great amount of room. Pitching can be done in about 10mins.
The roof of the tent is basically a bucket and within 1 hours worth of rain your tent is wet on the ceiling..all in all I think it's a bad design....fly sheet doesn't fit properly either
I quite disappointed with the tent...it's taking much from the rain...the rain cover is rubbish..I used to have a £20.00 dome tent that took the rain better than this..I wish I'd not bought the tent
This OEX Rakoon (which I paid £69 for) has to be the best value tent on the market.
I use it solo and the space inside is fantastic. Highly recommended.

I have owned this tent for around 3 years, now poles are breaking - not sure about replacements. This is my bikepacking tent, light & roomy enough for me and my two kids but price has shot up!
Tent poles bent after 2 hours of moderate winds on Angle Tarn. This also in May and not the winter months. This tent isn't made to stand the elements beyond leisurely conditions. Fell to bits easily
I have had this tent for about 6 months and it’s been amazing in all weather conditions! I camped in a storm last week and was so impressed with how it held up! Loads of space and well ventilated
Inner touches the outer when wet no matter how you much you try and fix it. When 35+ mph winds the poles will bend, from experience. Good for easy camps and forested areas with no wind exposure
