The Eurohike Rydal 500 is a spacious five-person tent with ample storage room, designed to provide a comfortable camping experience for you and your family or friends.
The darkened fabric used on the bedroom section of the tent allows you to lie in a bit longer without waking up with the sun, while large curtained windows enable you to bathe the living/storage area in light.
The waterproof flysheet and groundsheet with taped seams prevent any moisture getting in from the outside, yet remain breathable with multiple ventilation points so the tent doesn’t become stuffy.
Set up is easy thanks to the colour-coded poles and easy-to-follow instructions, meaning you can pitch-up in around 15 minutes. When it comes to going home, the tent is just as easy to take down and packs away into a handy carry bag.

Not waterproof. Soaked bed in the night.
This tent is NOT waterproof! As soon as there was very light shower, puddles formed in the front area and water was dripping into the inside layer, soaking our thick bedding (a full duvet, mattress protector and sheet!), through to the air mattress. We had to cut the holiday short. It was stressful - worried that the kids would get soaked in the middle of the night.

Good value for money tent.
Used for 3 nights, no sign of leaks and stood up well to some blustery wind and rain in N Eng, didn't treat it with anything, straightforward to set up. Enough space for 3, more might be cramped.

Not waterproof at all. Don't waste your money
Bought it initially for the layout, I thought the bad the reviews must be using it wrong. No - it leaks, badly. Even on a misty night was raining inside. And in heavy rain it may as well be open top.

Dry and storm resistant !
I've read the reviews, have no idea what they are on about.
We have used this tent various of times, and through a storm with heavy rain, no leaks and the tent stood up fine in the winds.

Easy to set up not waterproof
Only used twice and despite being easy and quick to set up we're now having to look for a new one as it started leaking heavily after a couple of hours of rain and puddles formed in the front.

This tent is good for camping in 20° + weather.The porch leaked at the first sign of heavy rain and the poles snapped in 40mph wind. Don't buy.

Tent sturdy and waterproof
Just got back from a festival and the tent survived storm lilian at 50mph winds and kept water tight the whole festival so not sure how others have bad luck or maybe we pitched it properly

Great family tent
As an emergency purchase, reviews were worrying but we had no issues, despite Cumbrian rain and wind. Stayed dry the whole festival.
Lots of room for an active toddler to move around, great buy.

Disappointed. Advice, Spend more on a waterproof tent
First time used this weekend in snowdonia. Initially I was pleased, space, storage, ease of putting it up then it started raining. After 2hrs heavy leaks started from the roof.Forced to leave as v wet

Don’t buy this tent from Go Outdoors
Front pole broke in 2 sections on 1st use in moderate wind gusts and rain. Shop will not give credit note or refund as poles are not included in warranty so warranty & tent are waste of time & money.

Great tent
We decided last min about weekend gateway with friends and needed a tent! This one is perfect for us. We had lots of space ( only 2 of us) great size of the bedroom and living area, no leaks!

Excellent value for money
Excellent tent for the money. Love the height and can easily put it up on my own but also big enough for all 4 of us to sleep in. After reading reviews got a bit stressed when it rained but all good

Great paddling pool
Great paddling pool. Fills up quickly through all layers of fabric. Only a light rain water supply needed. Fills ground sheet perfectly and doesn’t drain. However if you are after a dry tent, avoid.

Ok for lightweight use for 3 people, re-waterproof it!
Not large enough for 5 people, poor design on front door (slopes inwards for water to come in), not watertight. Easy to erect, only needed to roll twice before fitted back in bag. Buy a better one!

Not waterproof
Used tent previously, luckily in dry weather so no issues. Took it camping recently it is definitely not waterproof every area was soaking. Had to pack up and leave.

Leaked heavily
Heavily leaked from every side. Puddles all over the front and sides. Also don’t understand why theres only 1 strap on the back and it’s off centred? Had to go purchase another tent after 1 night.

Brilliant first time tent! - easy to assemble and practical
We've used this tent twice now. As a family of 3 this is the perfect size! We've been in heavy rain and thunderstorms and we haven't had a single drop of wet in the tent. Cannot fault it what so ever!
