Hi Tec Men's Waterproof Quadra II Walking Shoe

Worn straightaway in wales…hurt like heck for 1 day but then they stretched out and lasted me a year and they’ve finally given up and got holes in the rubber and let water in.

Had 4 other pairs. So disappointed on my first long walk I was left in agony with huge blisters. These shoes are slightly taller at the back of ankle to previous pairs. GO have refunded.

Good value and comfortable but definitely not waterproof, as is advertised. Ok but only for dry walks !

Bought this as it felt comfortable on but as others have said the sole is very thin and flimsy, with the compartments collapsing in on themselves after 2-3 months of moderate walking. Avoid.

Definitely not waterproof, so mis-described - let water in from wet grass. Otherwise comfortable after two months.

Have bought 3 prs over they years.
First very durable so bought replacement
2nd had thinner softer sole: heals wore through, let in moisture.
3rd OK so far but sole soft
seems spec has been reduced

Owned for nearly 7 years and used when the weather is generally fair. They are waterproof and have lasted well. They aren't going to compare to walking boots and are perfect for their intended use.

Bought from Go Outdoors and they were competitively priced. Comfortable, but ultimately the soft sole wore out / had holes through them within 12 months from normal urban and park walking.

Comfortable fit but the heel sole grips wore away and left a hole into the air cavity which then let water in. Very disappointing. Little useful life in this shoe. Sole seems very soft.

I have had two pairs of these now and same problems each time. They last about 10 months before the soles crack and leak water from damp pavements. Comfortable but no grip when its wet or icy.

Mis-described as waterproof. These shoes soak up the least amount of moisture even walking on town centre footpaths. Xmas present in 2022 & worn once per week. Shoes can double in weight. Avoid.

Comfortable upper, but as noted by other reviewers, the sole on these is pretty thin and has now developed cracks that let in water after 8 months irregular use (3-4 days a week)

Had these for about 6 months now and use them daily. But now they are just too soft and no foot support at all. The footbed is too thin and you feel every small imperfection in the ground . not good.

If you step on a sharp stone with the ball of your foot you will know about it - actually quite painful! The soles are so soft, so not recommended for country walking but fine for casual use. Comfy.

State if you wore gaitors or not. How many miles you wore them; measure with string e.g 1 inch string = 1 mile on mapscale.keep note in diary so know how many miles till grips worn,possibly with photo

Was given these by Go Outdoors , as the ones I ordered, they didn’t have my size. Would have preferred the ordered ones, but these are very comfortable and lightweight. Would recommend.

These are comfortable but are NOT waterproof as long damp grass can cause feet to get wet! Also the soles are not as hard wearing as expected as some holes have appeared after 6 months.

Very durable, wear every day for work as a tiler, only pair of shoes in the last 2 years that hasn’t ripped and the toe crease when working.

Not breathable though and feet sweat in them a lot though

Nice style & decent quality. But not at all waterproof. Also on the large side - I got a 9 which is more like a 10 or even 11. Too big.
