Brilliant stove from OEX.
Lightweight and compact.
Great for occasional use and much cheaper than the MSR/Jetboil equivalents.
More volume over the Heiro version.

so.. went abroad and took the OEX stove to find out that after visiting 7 stores in 3 different countries I can create new holiday fantasies about getting a compatible gas cartridge

Great value stove, boils a litre of water in minutes and compact stirage including a 230g gas can.

Was slightly disappointed it no longer comes with the storage bag (despite this being in the photos)

I bought the Tacana for a long wild camping weekend. For the price this is a brilliant piece of kit. Compact, easy to set up & very efficient. Perfect for 2 big mugs of coffee or cooking! Love it

Opted for this due to the price and fact I was unable to get the accessories for the jet boil. Does what it says on the tin, used several times now and never failed

Boiled 500ml in 3m15s used 5g gas so well in Heavy tho at 590g no gas next to my ETA lite at396g & my E/hike cookset & msr pockrock2 at 354g Great price for bike camps but too bulky for solo b/packing

Done a quick indoor test on it. Boiled a litre of water in 6 mins.30 seconds , & used 10g of gas ,so that should equate to 3mins.15 seconds &5g of gas for 1/2 litre so well worth the £35 I paid for it

The gas bottle needs screwed well in to prevent leaks round the side, which deforms the o-ring seal which blocks gas to the stove. I sliced my o-ring in half (not easy) and now it works fine.

Cheaper alternative to the Jetboil, but it gets the job done. More than happy with my purchase.

Not used in anger yet, but pretty good when tested.

Works very well, the bottom of the heat exchanger which locks into the heating piece is a bit flimsy and can be difficult to lock

Well made product at the price point. Boils fast. Packs away neatly. Use with a GoSystem 220g. Perfect fit. One small design flaw. The stove adapter does not lock unto the base as indicated. Good buy.

I needed a jet boil system for my travels and bought this one , boils really fast , compact and no rattling when packed away , a complete cooking system that was well made and this product is superb !

this is amazing, boils water superquick and everything fits in just. As with other reviews i went for a primus 230g can. Order:tripod,burner,can,adapter. *make sure gas can is fitted inside burner rim

OK, so much cheaper than jetboil, tested at home (will be used on my small boat-ventilation protocols will be observed...) boiled half litre of cold water in about 2 minutes which is great.

A primus 230g can does fit nicely, on the other hand a colmeman one won't as it's about 10mm taller, chose your gas wisely and you'll be fine.

I’ve not tested this in anger , but I’d like to point out tha a 230g gas can does fit . You need to carefully arrange the contents.
Tripod 1st then burner then canister then the pan attachment upside.

For the price of this set up. I'ts amazing!
Holds large size, Boiling is rapid! Keeps the heat well with the sleeve and surprisingly easy to clean!
Compared to others, Couldn't recommend it more.
