Offer: DofE Recommended Kit
Product code: 15906213 / 326405
A quick and easy tunnel tent that'll shelter you through a wide range of weathers - recommended by the DofE and featuring on the DofE Expedition Kit List.
Exclusive to GO Outdoors, the Vango Nova 200 is a lightweight tunnel tent that gives you a sturdy, reliable shelter in a compact package.
It's simple to set up and packs away to a light, small size that's easy to take anywhere, making it an ideal choice for first time youth campers, festival goers, DofE participants and Scouts expeditioners.
Its tunnel shape with 'gothic arch' pole structure makes it roomy inside, stable in wind, and helps water or snow to run off the flysheet.
Taped seams and 'rain-stop' doors keep it dry inside, and the Vango TBSII tension band system helps it to stand up to strong windy weather.

In sept 2022 I went camping with this tent in Norway and it survived 20hours of nonstop rain and wind in Norway, pretty much in a bog and didnt let any rain in. I'm super impressed and happy with this
Light and compact. Great small tent.
just the job for a summer of festivals (at last)
I am told by my son that his latest Munro Bagging trip was wind proof and water proof...job done ✔
Easy to put up, needs a flat bit of ground or the underside is exposed, good spacious tent
Light tent, great for my WHW adventure. Quick delivery and fantastic value for money
This tent is amazing. Very spacious. I am extremely happy. Thank you.
Great tent. I've had this for over two years now and pitched it all over Scotland in all weather types and it's still going strong. Huge amount of space for myself and all of my gear. Excellent tent.
I have used mine in winds, rain, heavy frost and snow. Performed great in all these weather conditions. My Wife and myself found it "Cosy" but adequate space wise inside. Highly recommend this product
Brilliant tent for those wild camps. 2 poles, min 4 pegs and it’s good to go in about 5 mins. Mine is 18 months old, used frequently in all weathers, no problems yet. Could be a squeeze with 2 lrg people and packs, but it’s only me. Definitely recommend. I see it’s being updated and now called the Scarfell. £3 extra for a 5cm height increase. No brainer really.
I needed to replace my old tent after many years of use. I bought the Nova 200 and took it on an overnighter in the Highlands in a bit of wind, that up till these days never received a name, a bit blowy now and it gets a name. Anyway it pitched very easily, even in the wind and took a fair pummelling through the night from the wind and rain, it was rock solid it and no leaks were experienced. A good light tent that I hope to use for as many years as my old tent. Very happy.
I had been reviewing tents looking for a '1 man plus kit' size. I went with the vango and recently spent 3 days in Snowdonia where i experienced all four seasons on each day, with considerable winds. The tent stood up to it all no bother. The final night had no wind and a bit of condensation built up inside by the morning. Apart from that, stayed dry, fixed to the ground (which is more the some people's did). Easy enough to pitch and pack. The inner pitching with the outer (optional) is great for pitching in the rain!
Bought this Nova 200 from Gooutdoors, Very easy tent to set up and light enough to carry on your rucksack, The only problem is one of the poles has split, causing it to say in when set up. The after care service I received when I told Gooutdoors about was to say the least ROTTEN. I was told that I would have to buy spare poles!!!!!!! Surely it's up to them to order and replace said items as the tent was less than a fortnight old, What ever happened to guarantees?
Really pleased with this. Very easy to put up and lightweight. It appears to be waterproof (yet to be testing) and sturdy.
Were given this tent from school for Duke Of Edinburgh and was glad to have practiced putting it up before hand. Although instructions are clear, there are one or two clips we missed on our first time round. Light weight, easily packed and rolls up small. Not a lot of room once two people are in but overall sufficient for basic camping. Would recommend.
I needed this for a smaller tent for motorbike touring- it packs small and is light and is a doddle to put up. Good quality, roomy - but only for 1 as it’s far too small for a 2 person tent. Useful porch type area to leave outdoor gear and would be easy enough to put a stove in if you’re careful. No built in or separate groundsheet in the front area but that’s not an issue for me. It’s excellent value for money for a weekend or 1 person tent. Any more kit or anymore people then I’d recommend a 2/3 person rather than a 1/2.
Used for bikepacking including 2 days of torrential rain. Was cosy & dry inside. Packed easily into a 13l bar bag with room to spare. Easy to put up & take down & dries quickly. Perfect for the job!
