Wrist system falls off
2 out of 5

I bought these for Alpine walking, as they fit in a pack, but the wrist system is not robust, and after about a weeks use the clips have come away. Poor design, not robust enough

Can’t source replacement parts
2 out of 5

I have had and used these for three years without any trouble however I find that the metal tips and rubber covers both need replacing and are not available anywhere.

Great while they lasted
2 out of 5

Repeating many of the other reviews; these are great poles while they last, lightweight and quick to assemble/collapse, but the internal cable snapped after about 20hrs of use.

Disappointing product
2 out of 5

Really liked height, feel and weight. However, cable snapped on first time I used them half way up a hill. Very disappointing product.

Broke first time I opened them

As many have reported, the internal cable broke the first time I opened them. Avoid at all costs

Internal cable snapped after one use
2 out of 5

All went well for first use, fold well, light, sturdy enough.

Tried to assemble one for the second trip and the cable has detached making them useless.

Very disappointing product.

Purchased these expensive poles as they folded down to fit in my back pack. 5 days into my walking holiday pole collapsed as internal cable had come detached and not possible to fix. Not very adjustab

Great poles, for any height.

These are great poles. I usually only need them on steep sections, so I really like that they pack down when not in use. Fully adjustable, I’m 5”5 and hubby is 6’0, and we both use them easily.

good light walking poles

Short length great for stowing inside pack Loved their light weight. Expect hand straps won't work with heavy winter gloves, not tried yet. Worked well with light gloves. Rubber feet replacee quickl

Disasppointing
2 out of 5

On 5th time of use I slipped on steep grass, sat backwards and pole broke clean through at junct between sections. Never broken a pole before. Not up to the job beyond walking in the park.

Not strong and easily bent
2 out of 5

Easy to assemble and adjust. They bent the first time I used them in rough terrain since they could not support my weight - and I'm only 10 stone!

Too long for most people
2 out of 5

These poles are made for giants. Check length before buying and don't make the same mistake I did. I'm about 5'8 so not short. Apart from that nice and light and easy to assemble and fold down.

Great to walk again without pain
2 out of 5

Not cheap and the instructions for assembly are needed, but once going they are great and have enabled to me to walk with much less knee pain and at my old speed. Their weight and compact size when folded makes them easy to take anywhere.

Too long for 5'4" height?!
2 out of 5

Although these are height adjustable the shortest setting is 120cm, having watched a number of youtube videos, all the advise is that the pole should be vertical when holding your arm with a right angle at elbow. I'm 5'4"(160cm) tall (apparently average height for British women) and these are way too long! They were about right for my husband who is 5'10". There was nothing on the packaging to suggest that they're height restrictive, very disappointed as these were bought for me as a Xmas present.
