I previously gave a 5star rating for this product and promised to do an update if any problems. I did have problems: after the 1st time I turned it on, when I ignite the heater the flames were no longer contained within the cage. It may be because of my inexperience with gas heaters but it scared me enough not to use it any more. Luckily, this manufacturer is a great one and stands by their product with good refund agreement. It allowed me to return to Go Outdoors and get a full refund within 15 days of in-shop purchase. There is also a smell from using this heater, the instructions say to use in a ventilated place (I'd say out doors really, unless you don't mind the smell. It isn't carbon monoxide as I had a reader just above the unit)
I can't say the same for the gas bottle from Calor but it is not the fault of this product, so my 5 star still stands. Calor, the manufacturer of the bottle, say I have to travel to them, several miles away from me and they will only give a 70% refund on their own new bottle, zero% on the gas that I barely used. Disgraceful after sales service but I can't just dump the bottle anywhere. I have to do the round trip to them for peanuts. Carlor is keen on selling their gas & collecting your money but make it difficult for you to return it if things don't go right. Worrying for a gas company.
