Great bag.

I've used this down to freezing with a t shirt no probs.
Some people need to sleep hot I like a cold bed!
Compacts up small gvm imho.

4 Season is misleading

Took this camping in Scotland and I was absolutely freezing. -1 degrees comfort is an absolute joje

Freezing

Camping end of May bank holiday South East England. I was freezing all night long. I don't know how this bag can be promoted as 4 season. I do feel misled. It's a 2 season bag at best.

Not 4 season.

Went camping last weekend with lows of -3.
I can honestly say that is no where near the 4 season it is advised as. I was freezing! I would say 5c and up will be ok

Ok, but not a 4 season

This bag is “ok” but not brilliant!
I’d say more like a 2/3 season
Might aswell save up for longer and get a better brand

Great winter bag

Was slightly skeptical when reading reviews but after camping in temperatures around 0 can definitely say this is a great bit of kit. Packs to a decent size and is light enough for the average hiker!!

Oex 4 season sleeping bag

As others have said definitely not a 4 season bag . Froze my bits off several times on a trip to Iceland in the summer feet were so cold I had to stay fully dressed to keep remotely warm

Avoid.

Advertised as a 4 season bag, it's barely a 2-3 season, zipper is on the left hand side, which is very awkward and the hood drawcord, brings the zipper into ur face, cold metal and a jaggy zip end.

Very Cold

Much colder than anticipated definitely wouldn't recommend as a 4 seasons sleeping bag, at 5 degrees I had to wear a down jacket in the sleeping bag to stay warm.

Not 4 season

A lovely lightweight sleeping bag, but definitely NOT 4 season, currently in the lakes and very chilly even at 9c, extra layers are a must even with a thermal OEX liner! Summer season at best

3.31 out of 5

Very cold at 10 degrees celsius

Camped in temperatures about 10 degrees celsius, and was very cold. Had to wear thermals and socks to keep comfortable. Would not trust this in cold conditions. Disappointed, as i feel I was mislead

Not four seasons bag

Tried it a week ago ( 2-4 Okt ) up in Cumbria. Overnight temperature was around 6-9°C. My polar hoodie wasn't enough, had to put my winter coat on as well to sleep in warm.

As a 4 season it's terrible, as a 2 season it's alright.

Used several times since purchase, the coldest night being somewhere around 6c. At that temp I was feeling the cold, especially in my feet, which are normally too warm. This is a 2 season bag.

not a 4 season, uncomfortable fittings around hood

2 season at best. Early autumn I need to add thermals, many layers with a fleece bag liner to feel cosy on a thermarest basecamp pad. Annoying, uncomfy, unpadded toggles, zip, and velcro around hood,

Too cold.

Would be a great bag for the pack size and weight if the comfort temperatures were remotely accurate but I get cold in this if the temperature drops below around 10C. Very big, not for small women

Good quality bag

Nice quality feel to it with decent zips. Claims to be a 4 season bag with a comfort rating of -1 personally i wouldn’t use it in temps below 5 degrees, Seems a bit thin for winter. Overall Decent bag

Ok option for the price

Cheap bag, definitely not four seasons though. Even with a liner I was cold when the temperature neared zero. More like a 5 degree bag maximum than a -1. Heavy and large pack size for backpacking.

Not a -1° bag

The build quality on the bag is good, it's very soft and comfortable, packs down small and only weighs 1kg. You need to really layer up below 5°, freeze at -1° and probably die any lower than -6°

3.31 out of 5

Not a 4 season

Great summer sleeping bag but I was absolutely frozen camping the other night in 5° which is completely within the bags comfort range. And that was with 3 layers including thermal.

Great value for money

Great value, for the price this is perfect.
