Calibre's baseline UK trail focused 120 travel hardtail mountain bike.
Calibre's Line 20 is an aggressive hardtail mountain bike that’s been designed to be ridden hard, rewarding you with complete control and confidence.
It has long, low and slack geometry, combined with a wide bar and short stem, giving you stability at speed alongside an efficient climbing ability.
The air sprung RockShox XC30* forks can be tailored to any rider weight, and can also be locked out to give a stiffer ride when you venture back on-road.
You have all the Shimano Deore* gearing range you need to tackle the trails, whether climbing up hill or manoeuvring obstacles coming back down, with the WTB specific tyres providing great grip at the front and fast rolling at the rear.

Looked for the best-suiting MTB in the £500 range and came across this good looker, along with the usual better-known name suspects.
Sharing the same 'Line' frame as the more focused and pricey '10' model and the fitting of better-than-average Rock Sock air forks was a good start.
Finally arrived well packaged and was simple enough to assemble with only a binding front brake having to sort-out.
The quality of finish and performance feel are pleasing and a reminder of how far things have come in this price bracket in recent years. The 'basic' equipment set is probably better-suited to more varied riding situations for most riders. The saddle is the only thing I'm not impressed by so far, but overall you can tell the basic good quality of the machine.
A nicely judged package for the outlay and excellent value when bought on an extra-discount price.
Bike came packed well, fairly easy to put together.
Done around 4 solid runs on this bike now 2 in wet conditions 2 in the dry.
Frame is incredibly well put together and is incredibly stable.
Bike handles well at speed, ive had a couple wobbly moments at low speed when climbing but at the moment ill put that down to my setup that i need to dial in.
Forks are great haven't really touched the lockout much, you could handle most trails with this fork got decent air on some of my runs and it soaks the impact up no problem my wrists / arms have never had fatigue while riding.
Gearing is probably one downside its okay but was quite violent/ janky until I put a lot of chain oil on would have liked to have seen a 1x drive train,
but its okay, gets the job done.
Brakes, no real comment do the job, have had 0 issues in wet or dry.
Tyres, front Tyre is perfection in all conditions, rear tyre struggles a bit in the Wet but I wouldn't say its scary just need to watch it a bit on the brakes.
Saddle is okay, not amazing, again gets the job done.
I came into owning this bike for a couple reasons, I did not really want to breach the 600 pound mark or go used,
Calibre seem to be doing a really impressive job with all their bikes and they are highly recommended and
a lot of the other highly rated hardtails are OOS at the moment due to the season. Would i recommend this YES, But.... if you can push that extra 150 for the Line 10
I would maybe do it purely for the 1x drivetrain and dropper as they will be upgrades i will putting on this bike in the next six months.
Bike is getting 5 stars because for the price the bike is still around the top of its class, I have small niggles with as stated above but that does not take away anything from my overall view on the bike, its very capable.
Note : I do find the lack of media coverage on this bike strange, have seen no reviews or anything from MBR, Bike radar etc....
It came in a large box in not too many parts, no damage and all parts working smoothly. Also very fast delivery, it arrived one week before it was supposed to arrive!
