Love it! Practical, you can cook vegetables etc in the inner ring whilst barbecuing other foods on top. The shape is appealing and people who have seen it love it too!

What an excellent bbq, it is easy to use, heats up quickly and stays hot long enough to cook anything you need to. We would highly recommend.

If you serious about your camp cooking you can’t do better than a Cobb, I’ve had mine 5 years with virtually all of the accessories and there’s nothing you can’t cook on it, with a couple of additional gas rings you can make a Roast dinner for 8, the well allows you steam using any liquid or can fit 40 roast potatoes, it cooks a fantastic pizza and even bakes bread, like another reviewer on here I have convinced several friends to purchase one and they all love it nearly as much as me!!

Firstly, i do work at Gooutdoors but I hope my review is helpful.

I'm a big lad who loves to bbq and will use my home gas bbq at least twice a week but when on holiday in the UK I've found disposable or portable bbqs fell short of the mark. The Cobb pro comes in a handy wee bag that does make transporting easy. From lighting the cobblestones i can start cooking within ten minutes. The plate is big enough to cook for 4.

One of the key features is I have used the Cobb on top of a plastic table without damaging it. I have also lifted the BBQ during cooking. Yes, not recommended but I had to test the claims.

Added features include the ability to smoke food and, with an extension ring, cook a whole chicken.

I have owned the Cobb for about 7 years and it is easily the most versatile cooker around. I also have the griddle accessory which I prefer to the standard plate. I also use briquettes as I find the cobblestones too hot,.

For a quick cook a trangia burner in the base is fine to heat the plate. For a proper BBQ use briquettes or cobblestone for a feast. Using the lid keeps the heat in and cooks more thoroughly. Cold day at the beach in winter, load the top section with spuds for hot jackets. Roast chicken, veg and fish - fresh fish on the beach!
It is cold to the touch .and easily packed. However, it is a pain to clean, mine goes through the dishwasher.

Love it, small & compact but practical & easily transportable, great for camping, fishing & home use, Tip use the Cobb Stone, burns a lot better than normal charcoal, just wish Go Outdoors stocked the accessories !

The Cobb Pro is expensive. Make no mistakes if you think you're buying a BBQ you won't go near this on cost. It's far more than a BBQ! The cobble stone inclusion makes this outdoor oven easy and super quick to get going on. The standard teflon cooking plate holds 6 burgers, 8 kebabs or 8 sausages at a time. Light up to chow down was about 34 minutes for the family of 6!

Mega sturdy, handleable when lit! Great feature for safety and a brilliant piece of kit. Hard to burn BBQ food (which is helpful) but cooks at a really hot temp due to the lid inclusion.

I could go on..... if you value great kit. Forget the price and INVEST in a Cobb. I've spent another £120 on accessories since the original purchase and recommended 6 of my pals buy one. None dissaponted!

We have had our Cobb bbq for nearly 5 years. And we cannot fault it in any way. It's great for, camping, beach, picnics or anywhere outdoors. The coconut cobblestones are now more readily available and last well over an hour. We have used it to cook beef, pork, whole chicken even pizzas and breakfast on it. There are other accessories available like woks, dome extension for larger items etc. Now Go Outdoors are selling these we have decided to buy the compact Cobb.
