Great product easy to use
Fast and efficient cooking on the campsite, at the beach or on a picnic.
The Outwell Appetizer 2-Burner Stove uses small handy gas cartridges and has a flexible hose so it's simple to use at any outdoor cook-up.
It gives you a lot of power at a high rate, without using too much gas.
Each burner is 3000W and uses 218g/hour - this equates to 436g/hour (just less than a 500g cartridge per hour). Assuming average daily use of 500g, one gas cartridge should last one full day while giving you lots of burning power!

Great product easy to use
I'm not a camper anymore. I bought this and a few canisters of GoSystems gas as I'm renovating my house and the kitchen is moving. My kids and I were all for living on takeaways during the process, but my wife, bless her, insisted on having a gas hob. So i bought the hob and a few cans of gas. One can of gas would have been enough. It's lasts well and is easy to use.
I might not put the new kitchen in as her cooking seems to have improved with this gas and hob combo...
Finally I thought I had found a decent compact twin burner that ran off threaded cans (rather than those aerosol style)
Disappointed doesn’t start.
Build is inferior, the pot stands need to be flexed to fit into the slots, so you end up with completely uneven cooking surfaces and very wonky cooking.
There’s not grip or ridges on the pot stand so they are effectively very slippery and pans slide off
The gas flow is hard to control due to the gas controls on both the bottle and stove itself.
The burners are very close together so you only expect to cook two pans evenly if they are very small.
I used over one weekend and returned as not fit for use.
I’ve given up trying to find a low profile compact double burner and bought a Trangia system that runs off gas!
Easy to use. Very efficient and compact when storing. Must be on a firm level surface.
This is a great little double burner which attaches to screw top gas cans. For the price, it does the job well. The removable rings which hold pans are'nt the best design, but when placed on a firm level surface, stabilise the pans enough. Feet could do with a bigger foot print as we found it did slide around a little. A longer black gas hose would also be beneficial. Over all, a good burner compact and correctly priced.
A very efficient and easy to use product. The two rings useful.
A very well engineered compact stove, stable and very easy to use, with the advantage of a dual burner, gas canisters are readily available and give a very good output .
Very easy to use,no fuss cooks stuff boils a kettle and just does what its made for simple.
The pan stand is dangerous. We tried several different pans on it and they slid about all over the place. There are no gripping points on it just smooth thin edges of thin steel that do nothing to support your pan bases.
Outwell should know better than to supply rubbish like this without testing first. Take my word, use one with caution.
I got this cooker for camping trip as there was a lot of us and it did not work only one hob would light but it would go out with in seconds, just hope I can get my money back.
