Great budget piece of kit for those starting out. Works well with my OEX Etna Mini burner.

This is a great cook set that I've had and used for just over a year now. I've gone on a camp at least once a month for the past year and always taken this set. Boils water in no time at all.

Does the job for me and my dad! Only downside is that it takes up quite a bit of room in the pack and rattles like mad. Big pans and you can fit a large gas can inside the cooking set. Would recommend

Not used it “in the wild” yet but tested it a few times in the back garden with a Hexi stove and it boiled the 3/4 full container in 6mins.

I bought both this and the Robens Lumberjack stove. The stove was bought after reading the dimensions and I am pleased to say it will nest inside the cook set for an economical wild camping setup.

Hacksaw cut three grooves in the heat exchanger. Most stoves then fit in and you have a jet boiler. Really efficient. Love it.

So light and I am able to get my MSR Whisperlite inside the pots to save space. Fantastic value indeed.

I have used this for 2 years now and still finding it a great pice of equipment for wild camping,

Not to sound like a no it all but the idea is to use the smaller pan as a lid

The heat-exchanger base is good, boils water abt 10% faster than a standard pan.
BUT: lack of a pan lid is a big negative: can't use with a pot cosy to rehydrate or even cook meals efficiently.
Poor.

Boils two mugs of water in under a minute easily, pop in a couple of latte sachets from Lidl, job done.

What more do you need?

OK for a first cookset. Have just done a year of wild camping and used it on every trip. 1000ml is misleading as the main pot is just 750ml. I tried frying bacon in the lid and it was futile.. I use the lid for dirty spork and old tea bags. It can rust easily inside if you store a gas canister and get condensation building up. Worth lining the bottom with some kitchen towel. It's good for getting inside it though: canister, stand, flint and steel and a folding stove.

Use it all the time and love it! Boils up super quick. Easy clean. Nice compact size. Handy cup as lid. Can fit gas canister and stove inside.

Perfect for wild camping. Boils in around 4mins and the heat spreader at the bottom works perfect. You can use the top pan as a cup. Bargain

Very fast boil, easy to use. however started rusting on only my 4th use and had to spend more money on a different pot

Sturdy, lightweight, compact and reasonably priced! Can fit small gas canister and screw on gas stove nicely inside, perfect for backpacking

Light weight. Like the heat exchanger. Good value for money.

Nice pot and lid. 500 ml Fresh tap water to rolling boil in 5 mins 30 sec in a wind free room using 20ml of DIY methylated spirits in a home made coke can trangia type burner. Flat pot base was located 40 mm above the alu coke can highest point to give an idea of arrangement to the pots heat exchanger bottom. Not bad.

Took this little thing as a back up to my Coleman Fyre storm last weekend wild camping.
easily fits my vango stove, gas canister and sachets of coffee and tea.
due to the heat exchanger, it boils in no time :) and although many reviewers dont like the mini frying pan (as its called) and use it as a cup. I found it perfect for frying an egg.

Worth 20 quid all day, perfect for quick heating of tins , soups, water, anything really, as long as it fits! Combine with your jetboil or similar device and your away , plus they're light as a feather !
