Used once, not recommended, I will be asking for a refund.

I purchased this cooker because of the reputation of the brand.
The top burners worked well, lit the grill once and the chrome burned off straight away leaving the appearance of a dirty rusty cooker.

Rubbish

You can’t Look outside on this as the burners keep blowing out in the wind. Not what I was expecting from a good quality brand.

GOOD Hob, poor grill

I can’t complain about the burners, they are fab. The grill is awful, it dries the bread out and takes ages to toast.

Classic stove

Bought this to replace a very old and rickety model of the same make which never let us down - the new one however is a huge improvement - folds away into a slim carry case which is light and silent to transport - excellent and reliable piece of kit!

great stove for the money

If you are any looking to heat up basic food and fry ups this is perfect, not much point in spend any more money. The grill isn't very good but I can live without toast.

Cheap stove BUT crazy expensive gas

We have had this stove for a couple of years. Feels cheap but then it is cheap - no complaints for the price. However, when you need to replace the campingaz it is a complete rip off (about 3 times the price of calor). Also, just learnt you own the gas canister so you never get the money back on the original amount you spend so you’re stuck with it. My advice - buy a stove with calor gas compatible regulators!!

Value product

Its a cheap as chips product. It's never going to be the same as cooking at home.
I had a £20k van and I still had to put an oven tray under that grill to raise the grill pan higher and make the grill work adequately. So i shall just do the same with this £40 hob now I've got a smaller camper! Its not rocket science!
I haven't bought yet but definitely going to, now the bundle deal is on! Bargain!

Adequate

Certainly good value for money; it's reliable and it warms up two pans of food quickly enough. It's stable, quick and easy to use and cleaning is simple. The stove is light and packs down well. And now the 'not so good bits'. It's really not very good if the wind gets up, even a little bit. The toaster is woeful, simply woeful. You need to 'jack' your bread up to almost touching the burner and then, it's an uneven heat...Not good. What the grill is useful for though, is keeping stuff warm; so, if you're feeding the 5000, you can put your cooked mushrooms tomatoes, bacon and sausages in a pan under the grill whilst you cook the rest up top. That works remarkably well. 6/10

Great!

Used this for the first time after picking it up with regulator.

Pretty good, even in fairly windy conditions.

Complaints about the grill are fairly well founded but I just popped a support under the grill pan to get it closer to the flame...not perfect toast but toast none the less!

Great Stove

I read the previous reviews about the grill being as much use as a chocolate teapot but the deal I just got was too good to miss-the stove and regulator with hose and clips for £35. For that price I can live without the grill!

Lightweight, compact, portable and cheap.

No complaints. Attached hoses, plugged into our 907 cylinder and made a cup of tea. Popped a plate under the grill pan to raise it a little and quickly made some toast. It folds away easily for transport. A step up from our Super Carena single burner, which is also great. Very pleased.

Campingaz Cooker

Got a good deal as this was the last in store..ex-display from Stockport Go Outdoors..The build is fine and the two hob rings work fine..no probs!..Now the grill...Pointless..been sat here now for 20mins and toast just starting to go slightly brown!..as another post said it would have been better with 3 rings instead of grill..for the price I can suffer buying a camping toaster..the old saying "You get what you pay for"!

Folds down well but useless grill

Bought as an upgrade to our old camping chef which was quite onerous to assemble/take down. In that respect this cooker does get 5 stars, and the built in ignition works perfectly. However the grill is a waste of space. Why not either make the unit smaller, make it a three burner hob, or get the grill to actually work.

Poor longevity due to poor design

Have used this product for around 10 weeks of camping over the past year we wanted something that folded neatly for storage in the back of the camper, from that perspective it's good. As a stove it works but the first time out the metal lugs which keep the lid in position when the stove is in use fell off. This makes the whole unit very unstable when the lid is open. Why don't manufacturers actually try this stuff out properly before chucking it on the market?

Grill not fit for Purpose!

I bought this cooker as my old one did not have a grill, only to find out this grill is complete rubbish and not fit for purpose! I ended up putting the bread on a fork and toasting it above the grill.

Ok if you don't like toast

Used for the first time last weekend. Ignitor doesn't ignite the toast burner so had to use matches. This was really awkward due to the small gap between the grill and the Base. After finally lighting it put some bread under to toast. 20 mins later toast still not done. Complete waste of time.

Great stove

This is great value for money. Heats food quickly and easy to assemble / pack down.
