Had been assembled in factory covered in blue plastic film that was very difficult to remove - stuck in behind hinges and inside edges of drum. I hope I have got it all and it doesn't melt on my food!

So this is made of stainless steel, the component parts are protected with blue plastic film. Before its all riveted together. Impossible to get the plastic off from in the creases. Wobbly legs. Crap.

This thing is great! We've used it 100's of times over the past 6 years. I think it's finally time to replace it and I'm going to get another the same £20 every 6 years ain't bad!

This BBQ served me for two seasons, the form factor is multipurpose. Mainly used it for shashlik. Used as a smoker when closed, or if party is big 2 sides can be filled with coal. Easy to carry around

The bbq has poor spot welds that have fallen apart in the box, on the basis of this and not having actually used the item yet I would not recommend.

Very cheaply made, the BBQ in the photos must be an early version as you can see screws holding that BBQ together whereas the one I've just purchased is shoddily welded/stamped together.

Nuts don't thread onto screws properly, the handle was warped, and there were a few dents in mine, possibly got a second hand one?

Either way, planning on returning mine immediately, save your money and either buy a very cheap one or put it wards a better one.

Bought this for camping great for the job also a log burner....

This bbq is great for cooking for the family. We took it camping and it cooked for five brilliantly. Although it is portable it isn't that small so allow room! We also used it in the evening to keep warm as a log burner which worked brilliantly. Loses a star as it is a little flimsy, and an awkward shape to transport but for the job required, it is great.

Easy to put together, works well and ideal for use at home or to take camping

Used this few times and I'm really impressed with it. Perfect cooking. We had 9 people and found it easy to use and also used it as a log burner. So gets a top rating from me.

We bought ours about 4 years ago and I’m just about to buy it again! It’s ideal for light use. We only used both sides on a few occasions so no issue with wooden handle. Perfect for a couple but perhaps not for families.

The wooden handle caught on fire the first time I used it fully open to grill on both sides. A load of rubbish. Avoid!

Rubbish! Very poorly made and the "stainless steel" has already turned rusty making it look even poorer quality. I am returning it for a full refund!

This is an ok product, however completely unsuited to the task with the wooden handle. On cooking using both sides, as per the instructions, the wooden handle set alight and burned to a crisp. Luckily the ground it was on didn't set on fire as we'd soaked it with water when we realise it as alight.

Serious product deficiency!!!

Used this for the first time since purchasing. Did an excellent job in cooking our dinner. We used both sides of the bbq. However, after emptying the remains of the bbq later that evening, we found that the whole bbq lid had discoloured and the metal looked remarkably weaker than it had before we used it.

I cant see this product lasting until next year as were due to go away with it later this month.

I wouldn't buy again, would look for something pricier but for the extra usage ill get from it.
