I really liked these for city and trail walking. Excellent fit with half-sizes available but in common with just about all the other reviews the stitching failed around the toe caps. Great shame.

I've had mine a number of years. The stitching to the front has now all failed and the toes are collapsing in on the left shoe. As such, perhaps it's something to do with my walking style.

Excellent shoe, lasted a long time 5 years or so, stitching came away at toe and lost its waterproofness, but I'm not being on servicing my shoes......

These are without doubt the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned, but stitching has come apart after 6 months walking. Very poor. Found a local shoe repairer. Repaired both shoes £20!

A very comfortable walking shoe that fits my wide feet nicely. However, after about 18 months the stitching around the toecap has become undone as others have reported. I will not be buying again.

Living in them for 5 weeks, they are comfy enough - wished I had chosen a more padded insole brand. Still got blisters, so taped my feet up with Zinc Oxide tape each day. They are light and strong.

Good shoes but not worth the money. Like so many on here, the stitching around the toe cap in both shoes has split on both sides. Meindl want £66.00 to repair. Design fault.

Bought Oct '21. Immediately recognised as most comfortable shoe I've owned. But at 750 miles insoles worn out. Now 1,000 miles soles wearing out. I'm 160lbs. Disappointing short life.

High hopes for these at first as very comfortable, but after a year of walking 6-8 miles a week they started to split at the outer sides. Got worse and after 3 yrs only wearable in dry -- shame

This is my second pair of these walking shoes. They are expensive but the quality is excellent.

I love these shoes. I’m on my 4th or 5th pair. They are so comfortable. BUT, as others have pointed out, after a little over a year the stitching starts to go. Clearly a design fault. Such a pity.

The best walking shoe that I have ever owned. Meindl is to walking shoes what BMW is to cars. Also without direction indicators. Lol

The fit is good, the but there seems to be very little cushioning in the heel, it feels like the heels are made of wood. The small block tread is easily overwhelmed by the slightest bit of mud.

For such an expensive shoe, you would expect them to last at least a few years. After 2 years the stitching showed signs of coming undone and now after 2.5 years there is a big hole by the little toe.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I have. Very comfortable, highly recommended.
