I was after a longer length waterproof which was breathable (not a boil-in-the-bag type!) and with a decent size hood. This ticks all the boxes. Lovely big zipped pockets. Just the job.

I have been wearing this coat style for about 12years now and am about to buy my third edition. They are fantastic , totally waterproof, double end zip so great for cycling, styled to allow layers. Gt

Arrived today and very speedy delivery. It is true to size although very generous, perfect for wearing layers underneath. It is a great length and very well made. Would recommend.

It's a waterproof jacket and it keeps me dry which is exactly what I bought it for.

I love the corded waist which allows me to wear it and show off my figure at the same time. And the colour, oh the colour! It matches my Rab body warmer so well.

There are plenty of pockets too. Enough for my keys, my lipstick, my phone (in an oversized and most impractical case), my purse (which is usually empty of money) and my compass (although to be fair I don't really know how to use the compass).

I have purchased so many 'waterproof' jackets to find whatever I wore underneath became damp whereas this worked so well my husband wants one too. We have just been to the Scottish Highlands and this kept out the wind and rain. The peaked hood was amazing as I wear glasses and it kept the rain off.

Only jacket with 2 ended zip I could find. Excellent jacket. Zip in fleece makes it great for all weather conditions even a a British summer!

I bought this over a year ago now, specifically for dog walking and it has definitely been tested in all weathers! It's totally waterproof, a longer length than the norm, reasonably lightweight so can be used on a warmer day. I'm normally a size 12/14 and bought the 14 so I cd fit woollies under when necessary. The hood is well shaped and sized, easily adjustable and packawayable, with a peak on the front to prevent much rain hitting your face! You can even fit a woolly hat underneath the hood. At the time of purchase, although it was the most expensive ladies waterproof jacket in the store, it was definitely worth it.

Gore-Tex, quality jacket with a lining. Waterproof and keeps wind out too. Good length. Can zip in a fleece if wanted. Zip can open at the bottom which is handy when sitting down. Plenty of pockets. Looks better than the picture.

Really waterproof - which is the reason I bought it! Longer length so much better at keeping you dry. I have tried other brands over the years - some with more pockets and map pockets more readily accessible but for keeping me dry - this is the one!

I'm glad some people enjoy this jacket because for me it has proven to be extremely disappointing.
I bought it for a walking trip in Cornwall 2 years ago. From day one, not only did it let the rain through after half an hour but it also took over 2 days to dry fully. During that trip the moisture levels got so high in the pockets that my phone got water damaged.
I now only use it on cool dry days because the pockets are well placed and the map pocket is useful.
I'm aware the problems could be down to faulty materials however, this is not acceptable on such an expensive item.

As with most things in life, you get what you are prepared to pay for. This is a true waterproof jacket designed to withstand real rain for anyone pursuing an outdoor activity.

Very pleased with this purchase, used on a recent walking holiday in Devon, exceptionally windproof, waterproof yet lightweight and very comfortable, particularly the collar with the hood rolled inside is much more comfortable than other jackets I tried.
Would recommend this as a very good all round jacket for all types of walking activities.
