Scarpa Vortex XCR Men's Walking Shoe

Bought these to replace my previous pair which I had for years. They are sturdy stylish and very comfortable. I did a price check and saved substantially. The staff in the Coatbridge store were brill.

After 8 years I bought another pair of these shoes. Sadly the soles are much stiffer than they used to be and they gave me blisters even after 6 months use. They are also coming apart at the seams.

Purchased July 2023. Having purchased an excellent pair of Scarpa walking boots i decided to give these a go. Used mainly for everyday use, one shoe squeeky, insoles worn, overpriced, poor quality.

I had a previous pair of these and they lasted years and were so comfortable.
I bought a new pair 2 years ago - started well However the lace holes have split and sole is wearing through already.

Bought these to replace meindl shoes. Price guarantee these were a bargain. Comfortable stylish and functional I would thoroughly recommend these walking shoes.

I wear approach shoes everyday, so get through a lot of them. I've always loved Scarpa quality, these look great, have good waterproofing and are comfortable but didn't wear well at all. Disappointed.

I have had these for well over a year, were a bit hard to start but thicker socks til they softened with time was an easy fix. Still comfy and waterproof, best walking shoes i have found yet.

Had for about 3 months. Comfortable, even in the warm weather we’ve had this summer, feet stay cool. Very good grip underfoot, solid build and very waterproof. Better than Merrell Moab II GTX!

Very light strong walking shoe

After a couple of weeks wearing them, I know I made the correct decision in purchasing them.

Light, cool despite Goretex lining, really comfy with the long climbing slipper style lacing. Have completed about 10 miles in them now and very pleased with the combo of sturdy boot sole and light comfy upper. Waterproof too (to the ankle anyway ...)

Excellent walking shoe - this is my 5th pair - I literally walked about 1500 miles in my last pair and they were trashed after that!

Great fit, comfortable and waterproof

My first purchase of this shoe and only worn once to date - walking on dry hard ground. Comfortable , good support even with pair of thin socks. Will take a little ‘wearing in’ but not much. So very pleased so far

These are for me, THE best walking/trekking shoe. On my third pair - previous pairs still wearable for day to day but tread is going so no longer ideal for trekking. Get about 3,500 to 4,000 km per pair before retiring them to the shopping trips.

About to buy my third pair of these in two years. May seem they don’t last but that accounts for around 7000km in all for the previous two pairs. This is way more than they should really be used for.
