Montane Terra Pants are lightweight, hard-wearing and weather resistant mountain trousers ideal for adventurers out in all seasons wanting supreme weather protection.
Ideal for any demanding outdoor sports, the Terra keeps on going through all weathers. TACTEL® fabrics together with a TEFLON® surface finish allow you to scrape, scratch and abuse your trousers on the mountain side.
The TACTEL® Nylon outer provides a cotton-like feel, which doesn’t rustle or crackle, but retains the durability and fast drying qualities of Nylon. The tight weave of TACTEL® together with a TEFLON® surface finish helps water to bead up and run off the fabric face.
The Terra has an active cut with a high lift crotch and pre-bent knees for a large range of movement. The fabrics are protective against UPF40+ and the pants have mesh pockets to stash energy gels, snacks and money for a quick beverage.
Comfortable, lightweight, highly technical, and designed specifically for the rigours of trekking and scrambling.
Check the review from Trail Magazine above, to see how they perform after a year's wear and tear. Cotton feel Tactel®

Bought a pair of these trousers following rave reviews I'd read and I have to say I've been quite disappointed with them. Firstly the pockets and side vents have an annoying habit of opening themselves when walking. Secondly the strength of the stitching along the seams leaves a lot to be desire. Mine have just gone under the fly after making a large step upa hill For £70-odd quid I'd expect a more robust pair of trousers.

Great all round product!
Have used these trousers for a while now and I have no faults at all, great all round trouser that can be used for walking, hiking, scrambling, climbing. I have used in both warm and cold conditions and they are equally as good for both. Although they are quite a thin material they still feel nice and warm in the cold! They also are very durable! Would thoroughly recommend!

So far excellent used in cold and wet conditions and they have performed well. whilst lightweight being relatively windproof and even in heavy rain shower where top half was soaked through legs remained dry. the longer leg version fits perfectly and one of the few longer leg option Go outdoors had in their Norwich strore

I have 2 pairs of these and been wearing them for 4 years. They work in any season - excellent venting and breathability for summer, perfect for spring and autumn and work in moderate winter conditions with a base layer under. They keep out all but the strongest wind and anything up to moderate rain and dry out in minutes. I don't find the absence of a map sized or rear pocket an issue.
Comfortable, hard wearing, unrestricted movement and work across the seasons. What more could you ask for?

Great pair of trousers
These are superb trousers, and I know it's a cliche, but they do 'do exactly what the say on the tin'. The XL is about a 36" waist and the long about a 33". Sometimes, buying off the internet can be difficult with Size Guides varying, so I hope that gives you an idea on sizes. I'd have liked a rear pocket but you can't have everything and you cannot fault them on anything else.

Buy a pair now!
Brilliant trousers, bought a year ago and abused them something chronic and the still look brand new! Nicely water resistant, quick drying and very tough. The zips with mesh lining are fantastic for keeping cool when you working hard and then closing out the elements when your not! Only thing I would say is they have no map pocket, if your used to trousers that do... Couldn't lose a star for that though lol!
