Made the difference

7 days hard walking, SW coast path. No blisters as promised, a real pleasure not a pain.

I wore these socks to walk the Yorkshire three peaks and then again to climb Scafell Pike. As promised, no blisters. Really impressed.

Worth every penny

Life savers when walking, running, tabbing, in boots or trainers. The double layer sock prevents blisters. Hot spots come but with the correct admin it shouldn’t occur

Will be getting more

Ecdkeent socks my whole life I have worn the same brand of sock due to knowing they work and any time I have tried to change I have been disappointed. Had these suggested to me by a mate and they were right excellent socks. More comlacked than most hiking socks which is great for room saving, double layered helps with blisters as well as thin so still dry quickly compared to other double layered socks that take a week to dry

can only say they worked for my feet

these have been worn by me for the last five days as I walked the west high land way in march 2016, they are thick, they compress well and kept their place on my foot, I am pleased to say I suffered NO blisters, yes hot spots, I wore these 3days in brown mountain boots then two days in simple asics trainers
I admit I never washed them as they were working so well, I never use talc but allow my feet to naturally sweat,
in all honesty I loved the compression hold and keeping in place during 20 miles day,
thank you 1000 miles

Waste of money

Bought these for a charity walk-after 32 miles straight my feet were covered with several blisters. I shall be returning these under the 1000 mile gurantee . In the meantime.,...steer clear!

Comfortable but do get warm

I've had these socks for nearly two years now. I've done the three peaks and about 15 other long walks in the Lake District with them.

I've never had a blister when wearing them and my feet have been completely soaked up Helvellyn. Like other reviewers have said, they can be too warm if it's a lovely sunny day. My feet have been a little uncomfortable on a couple of sunny walks, but I don't think I can mark it down for that, just wear different socks when its hot. I appreciated the warmth up the top of Ben Nevis in a blizzard!

Try again in winter

I used these on a trek around Fan Brycheinog over the Easter break. The sun came out and it was a really warm day, the socks were really warm, to the extent that my feet we drenched in sweat, which made the socks inevitably rub causing blisters in all the usual place. Perhaps in a colder environment this would not be the case. I'm going to try a thinner sock by 1000 mile aswell and give these another go when the temperature drops again. I should probably say that I was wearing a stiff soled mountaineering boot too, so some heel rub is to be expected.

So far so good

I'll come back after I've walked 1000 miles and let you know how I got on. Great shop in Doncaster with brilliant staff. Top socks for all weathers.

1000 Mile Wool Fusion Walking Sock Reviews

used these on Maggie's bike and hike for part of the 41 mile hike and they were really comfortable. Only thing against them was your feet get really warm if the weather is good.

For this price not worth it

First use on 12 miles walk in Derwent Valley Dams. On start was OK but the further I walked the more I started to feel pain and had big blisters on my heels. Not happy with them. They saying 100% blister free warranty if you not satisfy you will get money back or new pair. Contacted with manufacturer 2 weeks ago and no reply. So they dont really bother to give money back. Worthless warranty. I had less blister on longer walks using jogging socks.

No Probs

I bought these socks together with new boots and after repeated use on a weekly basis as well as 7 Munro's I have had no problems at all in fact I gave these socks a really good try out first and I now intend to buy more the inner liner got quite wet during use but no blisters hence the 5 stars
