Berghaus Women’s Expanse Mid GORE-TEX® Walking Boots

Unfortunately after purchasing a pair, I then read the reviews and put the boots to the test. Not waterproof at all and gave me blisters

A very comfortable boot. Lightweight and good support. Do not rub. UNFORTUNATELY badly let down by complete failure of the waterproofing- after two years they leak. Tried reproofing twice. Useless

Very comfortable but not waterproof. Soaked socks after half an hour of light rain.

They leak AVOID! When I first got them I was happy with how comfy they are. I hardly use them, short dog walks & a few 2-3 hour walks but that’s it. Now leaking! Seals gone - gutted

I really wish these boots were fit for use, but they're absolutely not. They state they're waterproof, but I haven't had any shoe or boot that has leaked more. My feet are sodden after a grassy walk.

Returned to Berghaus after 5 months as boot leaks like a sieve. purchased from Go I however was outwith their guarantee.
Sent to Berghaus repairs who supplied a credit. Opting for leather now.

These are really comfortable for wide feet. Waterproof to start with but after 7 months letting in water from walking through wet grass, this is despite using Nikwax goretex products for boots.

This is my second pair of these boots. Last pair purchased in 2021 were great, current pair purchase in 2022 let in water so useless.

I was really happy with these, they're comfy and a good brand. I've walked miles in them. They now leak. I wanted goretex and paid extra for the waterproofing. They're now summer shoes.

I wish I had read these reviews before buying. I’ve had these boots just over a year and they are now leaking quite badly I don’t walk long distances and don’t intentionally go our in the rain.

Very disappointed. I bought these after double checking instore they were waterproof but they are definitely not. They let water in within 10 minutes walking in the rain.

They’re awful quality and definitely not waterproof nor durable. I won’t be buying Berghaus Boots again. Not recommended.

I have had these boots for 8 months. They are very comfortable and waterproof.
Unfortunately, the inside of both heels have worn through . The boots won't be wearable for much longer.
Poor value.

These boots are very comfortable and lightweight, but after just over a year they have fallen apart. The upper coming away from the sole. These have been looked after as manufacturers instructions.

Great comfortable boots, look good too. Hope these expensive boots last me a long time. I love them

Sturdy but light and very comfortable from the first wear.

Rating of 1 because I ordered the Berghaus Women's Expanse Mid Gore- Tex walking boots and was delivered the shoe! Not a judgement on the brand or product but on Go Outdoors inability to send out the right product. The boot wasn’t in stock when I came to reorder so most frustrated .

After owning these boots 4 weeks, part of the straps with aglets on started to peal off. I contacted customer services to ask it to be repaired or replaced, to be told they saw no fault, followed by take it in store, in a pandemic, when none essential shops are closed.
Very disappointed in what should have been a quality boot. They are a comfy fit, but I have zero confidence in the quality, or go outdoors customer service

Too stiff. Sole doesn't flex.
